How Many Worlds are in Kirby and the Forgotten Land?

Last Updated April 3, 2022 By Johnny Salib / FlamingGaymer Leave a Comment

I have to say as much as I love Kirby games, it often feels like they are not nearly long enough for me and while I thoroughly enjoy all the gameplay I have in each other games I’ve played, minus Tilt ‘n’ Tumble, I never quite want it to end.

I’m sure that many players are like me and don’t necessarily vibe with the mini-games that are available in Kirby games and while I’m grateful for the addition of mini-games to extend the lifespan of the games, the reality is, I often with there were more worlds or stages to get through instead.

Now, being that it is actually a Kirby troupe to have between 4-6 stages in a World and around 5-6 worlds, I was expecting the very same for Kirby and the Forgotten Land. I have to say, as disappointed as I am, this is still very true of the game.

The thing is, this time it feels a bit different as Kirby and the Forgotten Land doesn’t feel as repetitive as previous games in the franchise, allowing players to take on upgraded abilities to our classics, adding new abilities to the roster and even adding a new Mouthful Mode that allows players to take on special skills from much larger objects, which we have never seen before.

Kirby and the Forgotten Land also doesn’t end when the main story ends, taking a bit of a note from Pokémon Legends: Arceus and even though I have finished the main story of Kirby and the Forgotten Land, I can tell you right now that I’m going to be playing this game for months to come because there’s a lot more players can do and this time… I’m actually interested!

The following post is going to contain spoilers, though I will make sure that the spoilers are far enough below that you will be able to avoid them if you need/want to, it will also cover all the worlds that are available to players and what they offer even if they are not “worlds” in the classic sense!

HOW LONG IS KIRBY AND THE FORGOTTEN LAND?

At this time the average playtime of Kirby and the Forgotten Land has been reported to be between 10-20 hours for the main game. These reports depend on whether players have spent time doing side objectives or have completed all of the Missions as well as whether the player is playing on the Wild Mode or Spring-Easy Mode.

Though the main game takes between 10-20 hours, the reality is that Kirby and the Forgotten Land really has a lot more than the main story to go through and the side content is equally as fun as the main game, though of course this is going to depend on what the player enjoys and what content the player wants to partake in.

HOW MANY WORLDS ARE IN KIRBY AND THE FORGOTTEN LAND?

There are 6 main worlds in Kirby and the Forgotten Land that the player must complete in order to finish the main story. Players will also have access to a “home base” world called Waddle Dee Town which contains a good amount of mini-games and challenges.

As mentioned there is also content that players can partake in in the post game, though I will not go in-depth with this content under this header so you can avoid spoilers. The post game information will be in the next header, so if you’d like to avoid it, make sure you do not scroll beyond World 6.

The following is all the information you need to know about the Worlds and how many levels are in each World.

WORLD ONE – NATURAL PLAINS

Natural Plains is the first world in Kirby and the Forgotten Land and features 4 regular levels and 1 boss battle.

Natural Plains, as the name suggests, features lots of greenery and grassy levels, being a tutorial style world for the most part.

The levels that are available in Natural Plains include:

Downtown Grasslands

Through the Tunnel

Rocky Rollin’ Road

A Trip to Alivel Mall

The Boss Battle is titled:

The Brawl at the Mall

WORLD TWO – EVERBAY COAST

Everbay Coast is the second world in Kirby and the Forgotten Land and features 4 levels maps and 1 boss battle.

Everbay Coast features levels on the beach, though none of them will take place underwater, leading players like me to rejoice.

The levels that are available in Everbay Coast include:

Abandoned Beach

Concrete Isles

Scale the Cement Summit

Fast Flowing Waterworks

The Boss Battle is titled:

The Tropical Terror

WORLD THREE – WONDARIA REMAINS

Wondaria Remains is the third world in the Kirby and the Forgotten Land and features 4 regular levels and 1 boss battle.

Wondaria Remains features a theme park, though it has darker tones suggesting that this might be post apocalyptical or just with a “take over” element.

The levels that are available in Wondaria Remains include:

Welcome to Wondaria

Circuit Speedway

Invasion At the House of Horrors

The Wondaria Dream Parade

The Boss Battle is titled:

Danger Under the Big Top

WORLD FOUR – WINTER HORNS

Winter Horns is the fourth world in Kirby and the Forgotten Land and features 4 regular maps and 1 boss battle.

Winter Horns features a snow filled world with lots of mechanics that relate to wind and ice.

The levels that are available in Winter Horns include:

Northeast Frost Street

Metro on Ice

Windy, Freezing Seas

The Battle of Blizzard Bridge

The Boss Battle is titled:

An Unexpected Beast King

WORLD FIVE – ORIGINULL WASTELAND

Originull Wasteland is the fifth world in Kirby and the Forgotten Land and features 4 regular maps and 1 boss battle.

Originull Wasteland features desert related levels and makes a call back to a previous world.

The levels that are available in Originull Wasteland are:

The Wastes Where Life Began

Searching the Oasis

Alivel Mall (Staff Side)

Moonlight Canyon

The Boss Battle is titled:

Collector in the Secret Valley

WORLD SIX – REDGAR FORBIDDEN LANDS

Redgar Forbidden Lands is sixth world in Kirby and the Forgotten Land and features 5 regular maps and 4 boss battles.

Redgar Forbidden Lands is the most desolate of all the maps and is truly the most dark a player will experience in the game. It is also the most difficult out of all of them, even giving gamers who are used to the troupe a bit of extra difficulty.

The levels that are available in Redgar Forbidden Lands are:

Enter the Fiery Forbidden Lands

Conquer the INferno Road

Burning, Churning Power Plant

Gathering of the Beast Council

The Beast Pack’s Final Stand

The Boss Battles include:

The Presence of the King

Lab Discoveria (where 3 bosses appear)

HOME BASE – WADDLE DEE TOWN (TEHCNICALLY NOT A “WORLD”)

Waddle Dee Town is going to be the area where a player heads to between battles to upgrade their Weapons and ensure that they have enough resources to make it through the stages.

Players will need to rescue Waddle Dees in order to unlock new buildings, though all the buildings include:

Colloseum

Finsihing Pond

Game Parlor

Gotcha Machine Alley

Kirby’s House

Main Plaza

Observation Tower

Waddle Dee Café

Waddle Dee-liveries

Waddle Dee’s Item Shop

Waddle Dee’s Weapons Shop

Waddle Live! Corner Stage

WHAT ARE THE POST GAME WORLDS IN KIRBY AND THE FORGOTTEN LAND?

After players complete the Game they will have access to two new worlds being:

Isolated Isles: Forgo Plains

Isolated Isles Forgo Bay
