I don’t think anyone is shocked when I say that I have been obsessed with Kirby and the Forgotten Land.
Quite frankly, I would buy any Kirby game without putting much research into it, especially because I am in love with the concept and have yet to play a Kirby game that I don’t enjoy… well, minus Tilt ‘n’ Tumble, which I despised.
I’ve been the proud owner of this game since release and was pleasantly shocked when my doorbell rang with the delivery as I was told I wouldn’t receive my copy until April 1st and I truthfully have not put down the game, minus for a few hours of playing Hyrule Warriors Definitive Edition in between.
As soon as I got my delivery I let my Twitch Community know that we were going to start the game immediately, cancelling everything on the schedule so we could try out all the cool elements of the game.
I have to say, I have been pleasantly shocked with all the versatility in the game and have been extraordinarily excited for the amount of abilities and upgrades players can obtain over their time playing the game.
The thing that I’ve been most excited about is completing all of the Missions as this is the first Kirby game, to my knowledge, which has preset Missions that a player will have to complete in order to unlock multiple elements of the game. While admittedly there have been tasks a player has to complete in previous Kirby games, there haven’t been any that outright tell you what they are, essentially giving you clues on what it is you’re supposed to do.
While many of the Missions available to players are straight forward, I think we all have to admit that in our first run of a level, you probably missed a few simply because they aren’t the most straight forward.
Now, as I am often a completionism when it comes to games, needing to push myself to unlock all achievements or 100% a game, I thought I would cover my journey on the blog and share some tips with you on how I got there.
The following guide will take you through everything you need to know about completing Concrete Isles, the Missions involved as well as where to find the hidden Capsules on this map.

CLEAR STAGE
As is with all of the stages in Kirby and the Forgotten Land, players will receive 3 Waddle Dees simply for completing the stage. While I would typically say that it’s important to collect all the Waddle Dees from Missions, I have to say that Concrete Isles has a lot of hidden locations that a player will have to find in order to get the Waddle Dees.
I admittedly wasn’t able to complete all the Missions in my first run, so if it’s any consolation, if you didn’t you’re not alone.
SAVE THE HIDDEN WADDLE DEES
WADDLE DEE #1
In the first area players will need to collect all the Green Diamond shards in order to make a star that will force the Waddle Dee to appear.
As these Diamond pieces are very blatant I will not state their location, however, finding them all will make a crane lift, revealing a Chest with the Waddle Dee.
WADDLE DEE #2
In the second area players will need to obtain Orange/Red Diamond Shards in order to make a star. These are a bit more difficult to locate and can be found here:
Immediately upon entering, right after the second Seabird
In the sand of the square platform, hidden in a dirt pile that players must dig in.
To the right of the square island, beyond the spike bar hidden in a mound that players must dig in.
To the left of the square island on the metal enclosed area, also in a mound that players must dig in.
Finally players must use their Mouthful Mode to use the Scissor-Lift Mouth and at full height must enter the wall and dig to reveal the last Orange/Red Diamond piece.
Doing all of this will make a chest appear with a Waddle Dee.
WADDLE DEE #3
The third Waddle Dee is located on the Island just beyond this area.
Players must ignore the Warp Star and should swim to the right of their screen where the electrical wires start to sink in the water. Swim past this until you reach the Island.
WADDLE DEE #4
The fourth Waddle Dee requires Green Diamond shards once more and will be a bit more straight forward than Waddle Dee #2.
Players will find these shards in the following locations:
The dirt mound on the upper tier on the first platform.
On top of wooden crats the players must break.
On the top tier of the second platform.
Players must then dig in the star shaped mound which will teleport them to an area where they can use the Pipe Mouth ability. Players must then roll down using Pipe Mouth obtaining the 4th shard.
Players must then jump as the Pipe Mouth into the building that has cracks in it. This will reveal the final Green Diamond Shard, causing the gate below to open.
GREET 3 SEABIRDS
The Seabirds are quite easy to miss and quite frankly, I’ve often only collected two at a time simply because I’m always distracted when I’m looking for them.
The following are their locations:
SEABIRD #1
At the beginning of the level, players will find a Seabird to the right of the first platform. Simply swim near it and it will fly away.
SEABIRD #2
After players retrieve the third Capsule from in between the spiked rods they can locate a Seabird closer to the electrical wires.
SEABIRD #3
Before players take the Warp Star they will need to grab the last Seabird that is located at the base of the concrete slabs.
MAKE LANDFALL ON THE ISLE OF TREASURE
This part confused me the most as I truthfully didn’t know how to get to the Landfall on the Isle of Treasure.
I had seen it in the distance and thought that there was going to be some teleport there, though nothing is further from the truth.
In order to get to the Isle of Treasures, players will have to swim to the left of their screen to where there’s a fallen electrical pole and will have to swim “off grid.”
Players will see this area after they have obtained Capsule #3 and will not be able to take the Warp Star before doing so.
After players have reach the Isle of Treasures and obtained their loot, there will be an Orange Warp Star that will take you back so you can take the Yellow Warp Star to the rest of the map.
DIG UP A MAXIM TOMATO
In the area that players are being bombarded by Canons players will have to take a brief pause to dig up a dirt pile in the middle of the road.
Doing so will reveal a Maxim Tomato.
CAPSULE LOCATIONS
CAPSULE #1
When players are on the island with the moles and the water in the center they will have to kill all of the moles in order for the center area to rise.
Upon the center rising, players will have to dig in the dirt piles to reveal a Capsule.
CAPSULE #2
The second Capsule is located in the puzzle that can be accessed by diving into the whirlpool next to the squiggly island.
Players will need to become a Traffic Cone/Pylon in order to break the ground on the other side. This is a bit of a difficult task, especially for those of you who hate parkour as much as me.
CAPSULE #3
Capsule 3 is more out in the open and is sitting between the two spiked bars. Players will find this closer to the end of the area before they take the Warp Star.
