When it comes to collectables, there’s no one that I know who is more obsessed with grinding until they are all completed.
I will spend as many hours as I can completing challenge logs and my dailies to ensure that I never lag behind and while that may sound crazy, it fuels the completionist hunger that I have as a gamer.
Though I’m sad to report that Don’t Starve Together does not have challenges on the majority of platforms that it is on, including Xbox One, Microsoft Windows, MacOS and Linux, I am happy to report that PlayStation 4 players do have access to 36 trophies that they can collect while passively playing in their DST Worlds.
Yes, you heard me, 36 trophies! Meaning that while you PS4 will make you aware of 26, there are actually 10 that are hidden for players to discover on their own or with this guide!
REGULAR TROPHIES
The following are all of the trophies players will have visibility for when playing on their PS4. Many of these trophies do not require players to do very much and are accessed by playing the game without any difficulty.
NOT DEAD YET
To acquire the “Not Dead Yet” trophy, players must survive 20 consecutive days in a single world.
Players can still acquire the “Not Dead Yet” trophy if they die within the world and resurrect themselves, though to do so players must be playing on the Survival or Endless game mode.

To acquire the “Stayin’ Alive” trophy, players must survive 35 consecutive days in a single world.

BACHELOR OF SCIENCE
To acquire the “Bachelor of Science” trophy, players must build a Science Machine.
Science Machines require 4 Logs, 4 Rocks and 1 Gold Nugget to craft.
Science Machines do not need to be prototyped and thus players can place one immediately after they collect the resources they need to craft one.
MASTER OF SCIENCE
To acquire the “Master of Science” trophy, players must build an Alchemy Engine.
Alchemy Engines require 6 Gold, 4 Boards and 2 Cut Stones to craft.
Players will require a Science Machine in order to prototype an Alchemy Engine, though if playing Wickerbottom they will have access to the knowledge required upon spawning into the Don’t Starve Together world.
HONORARY DOCTOR OF SCIENCE
To acquire the “Honorary Doctor of Science” trophy, players must build a Prestihatitator.
Prestihatitators require 4 Rabbits, 4 Boards and 1 Top Hat to craft, though they require a Science Machine to prototype.
DOCTOR OF SCIENCE
To acquire the “Doctor of Science” trophy, players must build a Shadow Manipulator.
Shadow Manipulators require 7 Nightmare Fuel, 3 Living Logs and 1 Purple Gem to craft.
Players will require a Prestihatitator to prototype the Shadow Manipulator.
WORMING MY WAY IN
To acquire the “Worming My Way In” trophy, players must use a Worm Hole to travel across the map.
Worm Holes will appear all over the map, though players should be wary to travel back and forth between Worm Holes regularly as they reduce a player’s Sanity.
MAKE IT RAIN
To acquire the “Make it Rain” trophy, players must locate the Pig King and make a successful trade with him.
While players can trade something as simple as a piece of Meat, I highly recommend checking out my Pig King guide as the Pig King has some phenomenal trades that will provide players with an endless supply of Gold Nuggets (unless playing a Monster like Wurt, Wortox or Webber.
WHAT A LOVELY DAY
To acquire the “What a Lovely Day” trophy, players must plant a Flower.
Flowers can be planted by catching a Butterfly using a Bug Net (crafted using 4 Twigs, 2 Silk and 1 Rope) and placing in into the ground.
Fairly ungodly, if I say so myself, but hey… I’m not going to judge!
BUSY BEE
To acquire the “Busy Bee” trophy, players must harvest some honey from a Bee Box.
Bee Boxes are a necessity if players are looking for some quick healing, though I will say they are a bit of a pain in the ass to craft as they require 4 Bees, 2 Boards and 1 Honeycomb.
QUICK AND THIMBLE
To acquire the “Quick as a Thimble” trophy, players must mend one of their clothing options using a Sewing Kit.
Sewing Kits are one of the most useful Dress Items that will restore the durability of the majority of items and require 8 Silk, 2 Hound’s Tooth and 1 Log to craft.
It should be noted that players will need access to an Alchemy Engine in order to prototype a Sewing Kit.
PIG PEN
To acquire the “Pig Pen” trophy, players must train at least 6 Pigs at the same time to become their followers.
Players can either feed the Pigs Meat (or Monster Meat) or can also use a One-man Band to control 6 Pigs at once.
If players choose to control their Pigs using One-man Bands they will need 4 Nightmare Fuel, 2 Pig Skin and 2 Gold Nuggets to craft one.
Players will also need a Prestihatitator in order to prototype a One-man band.
TOUGH CROWD
To acquire the “Tough Crowd” trophy, players must train at least 4 Rock Lobsters at the same time to become their followers.
Players can feed any minerals to the Rock Lobsters other than Marble, leaving Rocks, Gold Nuggets, Nitre, Moon Rocks, Thulecite, Thulecite Fragments, Orange Gems, Yellow Gems, Blue Gems, Green Gems, and Red Gems.
OPEN SESAME
To acquire the “Open Sesame” trophy, players must locate a Sinkhole and travel into the Caves.
QUACKIN’ IN MY BOOTS
To acquire the “Quackin’ In My Boots” trophy, players must be in the Caves while an earthquake occurs.
While earthquakes occur fairly regularly, players can force one to happen by exploding Gunpowder, Slurtle Slime or by defeating a Big Tentacle.
Players can also wait for Summer as the Antlion regularly causes earthquakes when her rage timer goes off.
TENTACLE EXPRESS
To acquire the “Tentacle Express” trophy, players will not only have to kill the Big Tentacle, but will have to travel through the hole that it retreats into.
Players will be happy to note that there is a chance the hole may transport them to the Ruins.
WE ALL DIE ALONE… TOGETHER!
To acquire the “We All Die Alone… Together!” trophy, players will have to join a public server.
It should be noted that players can join non-dedicated servers in order to obtain this trophy, meaning that players can host the world from their friends’ console.
IF YOU BUILD IT THEY WILL COME
To acquire the “If You Build It They Will Come” trophy, players will need to host a public world for 40 consecutive days.
It should be noted that a player does not need to have to leave the server active for 40 days as long as they keep the same server active until it reaches day 41 (meaning a player can always pause and log out, or even roll back their progress.)
As many players find it difficult to host an online server, primarily because of griefing, players can host a public server that is password protected, still providing them with a single-player experience without the worry of their world being destroyed.
A GIVING HEART
To acquire the “A Giving Heart” trophy, players must resurrect another player.
There are a few ways players can achieve this, though I’d recommend reading my resurrection guide as it will provide with all the information you could ever need!
THESE KIDS ARE OUR FUTURE
To acquire the “These Kids are our Future” trophy, players must first play the game for 20 days.
After the 20 days are completed, players must hand off items to a new player that joins their world by using the “give” function.
To “give” an item to a player, players must use the left button on their D-Pad.
EXPRESS YOURSELF
To acquire the “Express Yourself” trophy, players must use an emote next to another player.
Emotes can be accessed using the R3 button.
SUNDAY BEST
To acquire the “Sunday Best” trophy, players must change outfits using a Wardrobe or enter a world with non-default clothing selected.
SHIFTY, BUT THRIFTY
To acquire the “Shifty, but Thrifty” trophy, players must trade a skin in the Trade Inn.
Players will receive a maximum of 8 skins a week and will receive a number of duplicates, making this trophy a fairly easy one to complete.
DEFIER OF ODDS
To acquire the “Defier of Odds” trophy, players must collect all 35 other trophies.
SECRET TROPHIES
When it comes to secret trophies, players may have a bit of difficulty as they are more challenging.
Many of these trophies involve killing epic monsters, or engaging in parts of the game that take a bit more patience and expertise.
The following are all the secret trophies and how to acquire them.
NOT YOUR MOMMA
To acquire the “Not Your Momma” trophy, players will have to give birth to a Smallbird.
To hatch a Smallbird, players must first steal a Tallbird Egg and bring it back to their base.
Players will then need to place the Tallbird Egg near a fire, keeping it warm, but trying to make sure it does not burn.
Tallbird Eggs will turn red if it is overheating or will turn lighter blue if it is too cold. If overheated the Tallbird Egg will turn into a Cooked Morsel and if left in the cold it will become Wet Goop.
It takes three days for a Tallbird Egg to hatch, so make sure you’re hanging around your base during the process, because it can be finicky and frustrating.
TREE WHISPERER
To acquire the “Tree Whisperer” trophy, players must sooth a Tree Guard by planting seeds of its kind, being Pine Cones for Evergreen Tree Guards and Birch Nuts for Poison Birchnut Trees.
Players will need around 5 seeds in order to cause the Tree Guards to become docile.
TURTLING
To acquire the “Turtling” trophy, players must wear both Snurtle Shell Armor as well as a Shelmet, both which can be found in the Caves when killing Snurtles.

To acquire the “Insecticide Regicide” trophy, players must defeat a Spider Queen.

BEARSERKER!

BEAST OF THE BOTTOMLESS STOMACH
To aquire the “Beast of the Bottomless Stomach” trophy, players must domesticate a wild Beefalo.
This trophy is going to be the one that takes the longest, as domesticating Beefalo is a long and strenuous job, though I would recommend following this guide if you want to know everything about Beefalo domestication.
