I can’t deny how much fun Bloons Tower Defense 6 is, especially with the addition of unlockable Trophies, which more recently became an in-game currency that players can spend in the Trophy Shop.
Unlike Monkey Money, Trophies can only be spent on cosmetics, though let me tell you that the Cosmetics, which we will cover shortly, are well worth the grind for Trophies.
SO HOW DO YOU GET TROPHIES IN BLOONS TOWER DEFENSE 6 (BTD6)?
Players will be able to acquire bloons in two ways being the Odyssey Mode or Race events.
Both Odyssey Mode and Race events are accessible to players frequently, making the chances of acquiring all cosmetics a reasonably attainable task.
The amount of trophies players receive from Oddessey Mode depends on which difficulty players complete.
Players will typically receive 15 Trophies for completing Easy Difficulty Oddessey Mode, 25 Trophies for completing Medium Difficulty Oddessey Mode, and 50 Trophies for completing Hard Difficulty Oddessey Mode.
The amount of trophies players will receive in Race events will depend on how well a player ranks in comparison to other players in the world.
If players manage to rank in the top tier, they will receive 100 Trophies, and the lowest number of Trophies a player will receive is 5, though it should be noted that players who rank below the top 75% will receive no Trophies at all.
While Trophies may not be hard to come by, it does seem like Trophies do need a bit of skill as well as effort powering up things like Monkey Knowledge in order to acquire quickly and efficiently.
HOW DO I SPEND TROPHIES IN BTD6?
In order to spend a player’s acquired Trophies, players must head to the Trophy Store, which can be accessed on the left-hand side of the main menu.
While in the Trophy Store, players will be able to see how many Trophies they have acquired at the top right of the screen and will be presented a variety of items, including cosmetics for Heroes, bloons, music and even emotes.
WHAT ARE THE EXACT ITEMS I CAN TURN TROPHIES IN FOR?
The following are all of the items players can acquire when turning in Trophies. All items are split up into 5 seconds being Heroes, Bloons, Co-Op, and Game & UI.
HEROES
The following items will affect the Heroes associated with them, though it should be noted that many of these cosmetics will not appear if Heroes are wearing the wrong skin.
EZILI FROG PET
Trophies Required: 75
Ezili receives an adorable purple pet frog, who stays by her side.
Ezili Frog Pet requires the original Ezili to appear.
OBYN GHOST WOLF PET
Trophies Required: 100
Obyn receives a blue enchanted ghost wolf pup, similar to Gwen’s Firefox Pet.
Obyn Ghost Wolf Pet will only appear when players are using the original Obyn.
STRIKER JONES PARADROP PLACEMENT
Trophies Required: 30
When activated, Striker Jones Paradrop Placement will cause all monkey soldiers to arrive on the map by parachute.
Striker Jones Paradrop Placement can only be activated when the Original Striker Jones is on the map.
ADORA SUNBEAM
Trophies Required: 25
Adora receives a visual effect that causes her to be engulfed by a beam of light.
Adora Sunbeam will only appear on when Adora is not wearing any cosmetic skin but remains in her default attire.
DJ BENJAMMIN PARTY LIGHTS PLACEMENT
Trophies Required: 40
Upon being placed, DJ Benjammin will acquire new DJ party lights around a dance floor.
Sadly, the cosmetic only lasts for a few seconds before it disappears and requires players to unlock DJ Benjammin’s skin.
CHURCHILL TANK DROP
Trophies Required: 35
For players who are Churchill lovers, the Churchill Tank Drop will produce a visual effect that has a slam drop.
It should be noted that the Churchill Tank Drop only works on the default Churchill skin.
GWEN FIREFOX PET
Trophies Required: 100
While it might seem like the Gwen Firefox Pet is overpriced and not worth it, players will be happy to note that the Gwen Firefox Pet remains active for the whole time Gwendolin is placed on the map.
The adorable Firefox pet will begin running around Gweldolin and, if clicked on by players, will begin making fox sounds, explaining why this is one of the most expensive cosmetics players can turn their Trophies in for.
It should be noted that players will only be able to use the Gwen Firefox Pet if they are using Gwendolin’s default skin.
CYBER FIREWORKS
Trophies Required: 25
Similar to the DJ Benjamin Party Lights Placement, Cyber Fireworks is a cosmetic that is featured as soon as players place Cyber Quincy.
The fireworks last only for a few seconds and will only be seen for players who have unlocked and are using the Cyber Quincy skin.
If you’re wondering what colour the fireworks are… they’re blue!
DAD OF QUINCY PET
Trophies Required: 75
Similar to the Gwen Firefox Pet, the Dad of Quincy Pet will float around Quincy and tapping it will let out a moan.
Admittedly, the Dad of Quincy Pet is not nearly as cute as Gwen Firefox Pet, but any pet is better than no pet in my opinion.
It should be noted that players will only be able to access the Dad of Quincy Pet if they are using the default Quincy skin.
SUPER MONKEY BAT PET
Trophies Required: 100
If players are looking for something spooky when purchasing a pet for their Super Monkey, they need to look no further than the Super Monkey Bat Pet.
Though I’m not thrilled to say that this is the only pet players can currently purchase for the Super Monkey, I do have to say that the Super Monkey Bat Pet is at least adorable and is well worth a player’s time.
This pet will float around a Super Monkey any time one is placed, though it does feel a bit out of place, though perfect for Halloween.
GHOST PLACEMENT AND UPGRADE EFFECTS
Trophies Required: 90
If players want something that will alter all of their towers, especially if they are not ready to fork over big amounts of Trophies, they can easily grab the Ghost Placement and Upgrade Effects.
As the name suggests, players will witness an array of ghosts that appear every time a player places a new tower, no matter what the tower is and will witness a similar effect whenever they upgrade a tower.
I will say, the Ghost Placement and Upgrade Effects is one of my favourite spooky additions to the Trophy Store.
MONKEY SUB RUBBER DUCKY PET
Trophies Required: 75
For players who were praying for some cosmetics that affect Monkey Subs, which are truthfully one of my favourite towers in BTD6, get ready for one of the cutest additions to the roster.
The Monkey Sub Rubber Ducky provides all placed Monkey Subs with a classic yellow Ducky that swims around right by the Monkey Sub.
Adorable? I think so.
MONKEY ACE BONE DARTS (LIMITED EDITION FROM HALLOWEEN 2020)
Trophies Required: 25
At first I thought I wasn’t going to like the the Monkey Ace Bone Darts, but lo and behold I have been using this particle effect since purchasing it.
Monkey Aces with this upgrade will begin shooting sharp Bone Darts that flood the screen no matter what upgrade it has.
While I’m not sure how long I’m going to be using the Monkey Ace Bone Darts reskin, I will say it was well worth the 25 Trophies it costed and looks great, especially on darker maps.
The one issue is that the Bone Darts do cause my eyes to focus on them more than the mouse.
BANANA FARM CANDY CORN ‘NANAS (LIMITED EDITION FROM HALLOWEEN 2020)
Trophies Required: 30
In real life, I’m not a huge fan of Candy Corn. I know, I know, ridiculous!
Now, the Banana Farm Candy Corn ‘Nanas are another favourite for me, especially as the colouration of the banana bunches follow a fairly similar colour scheme to the original colouration of banana bunches.
Though the Banana Farms will not receive a cosmetic change, in regards to the tower itself, players will witness Orange Candy Corns drop the Banana Farm, or when upgraded using Path 2 the banana bunches will appear as Green Candy Corn.
Another great limited edition purchase in my opinion.
BOMB SHOOTER PUMPKIN BOMBS (LIMITED EDITION FROM HALLOWEEN 2020)
Trophies Required: 20
For players looking to dress up their Bomb Shooters, get ready for an upgrade that I still can’t tell if I like.
Bomb Shooter Pumpkin Booms effects will launch Pumpkins out of any Bomb Shooters, resembling a typical Jack-o-Lantern with a big smirk and candle inside.
While cute, I have to say that the Bomb Shooter Pumpkin Bombs don’t really show up when players use them and players will mostly see a smoke cloud of green, making this upgrade one of my lesser choices.
I probably wouldn’t have bought this reskin if I knew how little I’d be able to see it, but I will still say, it was on the cheaper side, so really my complaints aren’t the most valid.
BLOONS
The following cosmetics can affect bloons of all types including MOAB-class bloons, though it should be noted that some will affect a specific type of bloon while others generally affect all bloons.
STEAMPUNK ZOMG
Trophies Required: 40
Welcome the newest addition and the first ZOMG skin to be introduced into BTD6. It was about time Ninja Kiwi brought a ZOMG skin to the table!
While I’m not a huge Steampunk fan, in the sense that I don’t really know much about Steampunk… I have to say that the Steampunk ZOMG is one of the most detailed reskins that blows me away.
Keeping it’s black and green colouring, the Steam Punk ZOMG gains an eerie green glow that comes out of the bloon’s nose, eyes, engines, tail and inside of a gorgeous gear that has a face inside of it.
I’m a huge fan of this reskin and am going to make sure it’s my next purchase.
SCI FI BFB
Trophies Required: 45
I’m definitely in love with the Scie Fi BFB design as it’s pretty and doesn’t really confuse me every time a BFB spawns, because it’s so different.
The Sci Fi BFB is a red aircraft that looks almost like a spaceship or some sort of hovercraft with two engines on the side.
The Sci Fi BFB comes complete with front windows and a few extra decals on the top, nose and engines.
TOP HAT BLOONS
Trophies Required: 50
Upon activating Top Hats, all bloons on screen will be dressed up with a dapper Top Hat. Who brought the wine?
MO’ MONKEYS POP FX
Trophies Required: 40
The Mo’ Monkeys Pop FX will cause what seems to be chain link monkey confetti on the track.
It’s an adorable alternative to the Confetti Pop FX.
GOOGLY EYES
Trophies Required: 40
All bloons, including camo bloons, lead bloons, fortified bloons and even MOAB-class bloons will have animated googly eyes on them.
Although most cosmetics will not stack, it should be noted that Googly Eyes can be used with other bloon cosmetics.
Googly Eyes is by far one of my favourite cosmetics since it makes all bloons look a lot less threatening.
CONFETTI POP FX
Trophies Required: 40
All bloons will burst into a small amount of confetti, making a player’s screen one big glittery mess.
While Confetti Pop FX is a great cosmetic to buy in BTD6, especially as it can be activated with other cosmetics, Confetti Pop FX does have the chance to lag some computers and cause blurriness on video recordings.
Confetti Pop FX also comes with a sound effect, making it an even more appealing buy for players.
PINATA BAD
Trophies Required: 45
I really wouldn’t call this one that big of a change as the Pinata BAD is a pretty subtle kind of reskin.
Bloons will lose the seems on the BAD and they will instead be covered with the frills that look like crepe paper.
Pinata BAD will also play a special sound fx that sounds like candy popping.
It should be noted that players will only see the Pinata BAD reskin when the BAD is not fortified or camouflaged. In cases where the BAD has any modifiers, players will still see a default BAD.
MAULER MOAB
Trophies Required: 40
A decently adorable reskinning of the default MOAB-bloon, the Mauler MOAB is a reskinning that looks exactly as it sounds, but in blue.
The Mauler MOAB is great for players who want to keep their bloons in the BTD6 theme, but have something “fresh.” I’ll be honest, the Mauler MOAB reskin is one of the more tame options players have for a reskin.
The great thing about the Mauler MOAB is the fact that when Fortified MOAB-class bloons burst, players will still see the Mauler MOAB skin.
PIZZA BFB
Trophies Required: 40
At first, I thought to myself that purchasing the Pizza BFB was a big mistake as the Pizza BFB reskin is… well… a reminder of the forbidden food that I want to eat daily, but know I can’t.
The Pizza BFB comes with pepperoni, mushrooms and what looks like… well some green shit that players can make up a storyline for. Are they green peppers? Are they herbs? Are they some green onion?
A cool feature of the Pizza BFB is that they have different amounts of toppings as well as placements of said toppings, providing players with a good amount of variance in the way that BFBs appear each time.
It should be noted that similar to the Mauler MOAB, BFBs that are Fortified will transform into PIzza BFBs as soon as they are turned back into the regular BFBs.
While I can’t say that I’m the #1 fan of the Pizza BFB simply based
PUFFER FISH MOAB
Trophies Required: 35
Alright, alright, alright. Hear me out. I know loads of people aren’t into the over the top kinds of skins, but I can’t get over how adorable the Puffer FIsh MOAB is.
The Puffer Fish MOAB skin is pretty much an adorable googly-eyed fish friend who takes on a more Boston Blue look from his other MOAB skinned counterparts.
Similar to all other MOAB skins mentioned above, players will not see the Puffer Fish MOAB skin if the MOAB-class bloon has a Fortified modifier, however, all bloons will transform into a Puffer Fish MOAB as soon as the Fortified modifier is removed.
SHARK DDT
Trophies Required: 40
The first skin I had to get was the Shark DDT as the cosmetic truthfully is the absolute cutest one in the game.
While players will not see DDTs very often in BTD6, other than in very late-game content, players will be happy to see these adorable floaties.
The one downfall to using the Shark DDT skin is that there is no camo version of the skin, making players rely on their towers and risk not having enough camo detection.
If you are going to use the Shark DDT skin I would recommend keeping an eye out on DDTs as they spawn just to ensure that you aren’t dealing any damage to camo DDT bloons, though players can easily avoid wasting damage by placing a Monkey Village that provides all towers in the area with camo detection.
GRIDIRON FOOTBALL MOAB
Trophies Required: 30
For all you sports fans, you’ll be happy to know that the Ninja Kiwi team has your back with a skin that transforms MOABs into blue footballs.
Truthfully, the Gridiron Football MOAB is similar to the Pinata BAD in the way that it doesn’t provide players with that much of a cosmetic change, though it is enough for players to feel like they’re experiencing a cosmetic that is fresh and new.
Similar to the other MOAB-class skins. Fortified MOAB-class bloons will not appear as Gridiron Football MOABS, however, once the Fortified modifier is stripped from bloons the MOAB will transform into a football.
WATERMELON ZOMG
Trophies Required: 40
If you’re looking for another food item to float up in the sky, look no further than the Watermelon ZOMG MOAB.
Other than the Pizza BFB, I feel like the Watermelon ZOMG is the most drastically different cosmetic change in BTD6, taking the standard black and green look and converting it into a dark green watermelon
Although the Watermelon ZOMG is the only skin players can customize their ZOMGs to have, it’s one that I actually don’t use simply because I feel like it’s too different than the original… yes… coming from the Puffer Fish MOAB fan.
It should be noted that the Watermelon ZOMG will only affect normal ZOMGs and cannot affect those with any modifiers.
SKELETON BAD
Trophies Required: 50
Alright, alright. I have a new favourite when it comes to the Big Airships of Doom and it is the Skeleton BAD skin.
Man, those Purple eyes, those Purple Jets, that spooky Skeleton Face? Well worth the 50 Trophies that it costs.
As soon as I saw this bad boy in the shop, I immediately bought it, because DAMN do I love it and have had it on since purchasing it.
Say Goodbye to the ugly Piñata BAD reskin and say hello to this badass reskin!
I’m really glad that this reskin is not a limited edition one, because I know players will love this reskin for years to come.
BONES POP FX (LIMITED EDITION FROM HALLOWEEN 2020)
Trophies Required: 30
I’ll be upfront and honest in saying that I absolutely hate the Bones Pop FX.
While I had a feeling what I was getting into and truthfully knew that I probably wouldn’t like it, given the fact that I haven’t really liked any Bloons Pop FX in the past, the Bones Pop FX is extremely spammy and makes the destruction of bloons seem like a complete white out.
Bloons that are popped will release white cross bones that appear fairly similar to the Confetti Pop FX, though in my opinion appear a bit larger than any of the other FX.
Now is the Bones Pop FX a cute spooky addition to the roster? Sure.
Would I use it in October around the time of Halloween? Probably.
Am I in love with it? No.
It may be one of the better choices for players to choose, but I’m just not the audience for Pop FX.
HATCHET BLOONS (LIMITED EDITION FROM HALLOWEEN 2020)
Trophies Required: 20
Another reskin that is low on my list is the Hatchet Bloons, which make all bloons appear as though they have a hatchet through them, making a reference to many horror films where a character will have an axe shoved through their head.
My main issue with the Hatchet Bloons reskin is the fact that when players are not looking directly at the bloons, they can easily mistake these bloons as Lead Bloons, easily sparking a player’s anxiety.
I know, I know, that might just be a personal thing, but it made me turn off this particle effect fairly quickly.
CO-OP
The following items will provide players with emoticons or text that they can use when playing co-op rounds.
While players are not required to play co-op rounds in order to advance in BTD6, it can be helpful to get some of these emoticons and text phrases just in case you do find yourself completing a daily mission that needs a bit of steering in the right direction.
While most of the co-op unlocks are celebratory, there are a fair few that will prove to help direct more than others.
The following are all of the loot players can unlock from the co-op menu of the Trophy Store:
OK TEXT EMOTE
Trophies Required: 10
Ambiguous. No punctuation required.
The Ok Text Emote can be used in almost all situations as it can be understood in so many different ways.
Although it may need a bit of disambiguation, it does come in handy.
LET’S GO! TEXT EMOTE
Trophies Required: 10
Say you’re getting tired of waiting, or say you’re just very excited for the next round. Let out that enthusiasm with a “Let’s Go!”
The Let’s Go emote comes in handy more often than I imagined!
SPARKLING HEARTS EMOTE
Trophies Required: 40
For those of you who want to thank fellow players, or want to express their gratitude for an amazing play, the Sparkling Hearts emote may be the right buy for you.
Unlike the Love Hearts Emote, the Sparkling Heart Emote features one large heart with glitter attached to it.
CRICKETS SOUND EFFECT
Trophies Required: 40
I have to say, the developers did a great job with the description of the Crickets Sound Effect
This is the sound of the 14th cash request that gets ignored
Mhmm, so they understand how frustrating Co-Op can be. Love it!
The Crickets Sound effect is a pretty awesome buy from the Trophies shop, for players who want to be a bit more aggressive about their indifference to other players… AFK or not.
CONFETTI CANNON ANIMATION
Trophies Required: 40
Players will be able to select confetti cannons that are in the shape of Bigger Bombs Bomb Shooters which will appear on the bottom left and bottom right of all player’s screens.
After the cannons appear, players will witness them burst multi-coloured confetti ranging from blue, green, pink, white and yellow.
The Confetti Cannon emote is one that players can use in order to celebrate difficult rounds or for players to just shoot off as they please, though it will not trigger anything else to happen in-game.
DISCO BALL
Trophies Required: 45
If players want to launch a proper party they can purchase a Disco Ball from the Trophy Shop which will drop in the center of the field during a co-op game.
Once selected, the disco ball will appear with lights on the top-right and left of the screen, displaying various colours.
It’s said that DJ Benjammin loves the Disco Ball, but I can’t say that I’ve tried the Disco Ball with DJ Benjammin yet, so I can’t tell you if he also gains any animations.
All I can say is that the Disco Ball lasts a few seconds before it disappears again.
The Disco Ball is definitely a great way to celebrate tough rounds, though it can also be used to boost morale between rounds.
LOVE HEARTS
Trophies Required: 40
If players want to show their love and adoration to other teammates they can easily do so with the Love Hearts emote which will produce red, pink, orange and white bloons all over the screen.
I like to think of Love Hearts as being similar to Evelynn’s Allure (E) from League of Legends as it engulfs the whole screen, but chances are if you see this sucker you’ve done something good, because I wouldn’t see a player using it otherwise.
SIREN SOUND EFFECT
Trophies Required: 50
If you’re worried that a player is AFK or isn’t paying attention and bloons were about to leak, you may want to use the Siren emote as when activated it will produce a siren sound along with an animate siren that will come up onto the screen.
The Siren emote sounds just like one would assume a siren would and is described as being a “governmental emergency alarm” by an editor on the BTD6 fandom.
While Siren can be a very annoying emote to use, especially if players overuse it, it can be game-changing if players are able to catch the attention of specific players that need to pull more weight during a co-op match.
DANGER ICON EMOTE
Trophies Required: 10
As one would assume, the Danger emote is one that provides players with a yellow hazard sign that features an “!” upon activation.
I think that the Danger sign is a “must-have” for all players who want to play any version of Monkey’s co-op as whether you want an accident or not to happen, chances are there’s going to be a slip up somewhere along the line.
The only thing the Danger emote is missing is a sound, so it is a bit less invasive than other emotes.
NO CASH DROPS ICON EMOTE
Trophies Required: 10
Upon activation, players will create an emote that has a Banana crate crossed out with a red marker sign, also known as a Cash Drop.
Although the symbol on this emote is a Cash Drop, the No Cash Drop emote has taken on the meaning that a player does not want any form of Powers to be used during a game.
STOP ICON EMOTE
Trophies Required: 10
Upon activation the Stop emote will display an icon that features a white open hand on a red octagon indicating Stop.
As one can assume, the Stop emote is most often used when a player wants to signify to another player that they are unhappy with their actions or choices in placing monkeys.
It’s unfortunate, but sometimes one player will spoil everything for everyone by placing bad towers, poorly located towers or towers that are meaningless.
AIRHORN SOUND EFFECT
Trophies Required: 75
The Airhorn sound is one of the more aggressive emotes as it sounds like a stereotypical airhorn.
Players have been known to use the Airhorn to start rounds that are going to be tough, in situations to warn people that something bad was about to happen, or simply to let people know that they need to stop sitting AFK or that they need some extra help dealing with leaked bloons.
“ALL IS FINE” TEXT EMOTE
Trophies Required: 10
There are a few text responses that players have access to without surrendering any Trophies, one of them is the classic “Sorry” line.
If players are feeling especially sympathetic and aren’t worried about giving up 10 Trophies, they can respond to their apologetic teammates with a simple “All is Fine.”
A bit too proper for my taste, but still a great text line to use whenever players want to let everyone know that things are going swimmingly.
It should be noted that the text will be displayed in blue.
“AMAZING” TEXT EMOTE
Trophies Required: 10
For players who want to show a bit of appreciation or would like to give someone props for some good ideas they can easily use the “Amazing” text which isn’t really used in any other cases… well I guess, sarcastically.
It should be noted that the text will be displayed in blue.
“PERFECT TIMING” TEXT EMOTE
Trophies Required: 10
“Perfect Timing” is definitely one of the more rarely seen shout outs that players use, though I see it most commonly when players get an upgrade on their towers in time or when players strategically use a Power to help save the day.
“Perfect Timing” is a heartwarming piece of text to receive when playing co-op, and I kind of see it as the “honour” of BTD6.
“WHY?!” TEXT EMOTE
Trophies Required: 10
One of the pieces of text players will want to avoid seeing is the “Why?!” text as it is solely used for situations where players have made dumb choices before players start resorting to using emotes, especially those with sound FXs.
The “Why?!” text like pretty much lets every player know how frustrated another player is without being overtly
SCREAM SOUND EFFECT
Trophies Required: 15
For players who are looking for something more piercing when it comes to Sound Effects, they need to look no further than the Scream sound effect, which will do as the name suggests… Scream!
Players can either try to scare other players with this spooky scream or use it to express frustration when other players are… well, being frustrating!
I’m actually writing this after playing a match where 2 out of 4 players AFKed the whole battle. Damn would the Scream Sound Effect have been handy!
GAME & UI
For players who are looking for some changes to the way the game looks or sounds; or for players who are looking for a dope avatar, the Game & UI section is made in particular for you.
SUNSET – SILENT NIGHT
Trophies Required: 40
Players can rejoice as the developers have brought you a new song on your Jukebox, being a Silent Night mix of Sunset Samba.
DJ BEN AVATAR – ICONIC DJ BEN
Trophies Required: 10
If you want something sleek and smooth, look no further than the DJ Benjammin Icon.
It’s a simply drawn Monkey Face looking down in white and magenta.
BRICKELL AVATAR – B&W BRICKELL
Trophies Required: 10
For a lack of a better comparison, the Brickell Avatar is drawn in a black and white anime style, being one of the cuter avatars in my opinion.
Admiral Brickell is said to lead her fleet to victory in the avatar, and may she lead you to victory as well.
ENGINEER AVATAR – YES WE CAN ENGINEER
Trophies Required: 10
I have to be honest in saying that the Engineer Avatar isn’t the most impressive or appealing avatar in my opinion.
It features a Monkey Engineer with an orange hard hat, big green eyes, a large smile, a pencil in-ear and his dart guns.
ADORA AVATAR – ADORA RESTING FACE
Trophies Required: 10
Adora is looking gorgeous on a pink background, though she does have a bit of resting angry face.
I wouldn’t say that the name for this emote is properly chosen, though I will say that it is on the list of cool avatars to catch, especially as a major Adora fan.
MONKEY NAMES
Trophies Required: 50
For players who are looking for another cool sub stat to keep track of, they can purchase the Monkey Names upgrade which will allow players to name the first of any type of Monkey with a name that is a maximum of 20 characters.
Be careful, players will only be able to name Monkeys once, though players will begin tracking an ongoing stat of all the bloons the named Monkey pops from then on.
In other words, players will be keeping an ongoing tab of how many bloons the first placed monkey of any type actually pops, showing efficiency and also which towers a player tends to favour.
Note that players will be able to show off their statistics on their public profile, however, players can also select to keep this stat hidden.
MAIN – FIESTA
Trophies Required: 40
If players are looking for a fun fiesta sound mix they will be able to purchase the fiesta version of the “Party Time” track.
Players can access this song through the Jukebox when players select the Main Menu Settings.
SERENADE – GAMEBOY
Trophies Required: 40
If players are looking for a retro 8-bit sound mix they will be able to purchase the Gameboy version of the “Sunshine Serenade” track.
Players can access this song through the Jukebox when players select the Main Menu Settings.
CARNIVAL – COMPLEXTRO
Trophies Required: 40
If players are looking for a dubstep + house sound mix they will be able to purchase the complextro version of the “Tropical Carnival” track.
Players can access this song through the Jukebox when players select the Main Menu Settings.
TRIBES – FUNKED
Trophies Required: 40
If players are looking for a groovy sound mix they will be able to purchase the Funked version of the “Tribes and Tribulations” track.
Players can access this song through the Jukebox when players select the Main Menu Settings.
BIKER BONES AVATAR
Trophies Required: 10
For players who like Biker Bones, whom I’ll admit I still cannot see.
The avatar is bright red, orange and yellow, looking like flames.
TRANSFORMING AVATAR
Trophies Required: 10
For players who are Alchemist mains, you can grab this intense avatar that features an Alchemist Monkey drinking a Transforming Tonic and becoming insane.
FOREST DRUID AVATAR
Trophies Required: 10
A more subtle and calm avatar seems to be the Forest Druid avatar which features the Spirit of the Forest Druid though the art design on the Forest Druid Avatar is more realistic than the cartoony version in the game.
By far the Forest Druid Avatar is my least favourite Avatar, but prove me wrong.
PAT FUSTY AVATAR
Trophies Required: 10
If players are a big fan of Pat Fusty or love the colour pink, then players should grab themselves the Pat Fusty Avatar, which features Futsy with his right fist on his left hand.
It seems like Pat Fusty is giving the ground a nice big slam as players will also see particles floating in the back.
Honestly, one of my favourite Avatars, though I must admit, I don’t give Pat Fusty that much love in-game.
EZILI AVATAR
Trophies Required: 10
As soon as I got my first batch of Trophies I was immediately ready to buy the Ezili Avatar which shows Ezili’s profile facing left with a purple background.
Ezili is one of my favourite designed avatars in BTD6 and I can’t get over how gorgeous she is as a player, even though she also doesn’t see too much gameplay for me.
CHURCHILL AVATAR
Trophies Required: 10
For players who are looking for something more exciting and high energy, look towards the Churchill Avatar which is an image of Captain Churchill angrily screaming in front of what seems to be an explosion (as Churchill has a yellowish glow on his face.)
Churchill is screaming in front of a red background.
CUSTOM AVATAR – BRIGHT ETIENNE
Trophies Required: 10
I must admit that I have an extreme soft spot for Etienne, I can’t say that I recognized him at first glanced of this avatar.
Etienne appears in a blue pilot hat with goggles, looking sharp as ever and by far making it on the top list of Avatars players should look out for.
The Bright Etienne Avatar is named really well, especially because it’s one of the happiest looking avatars players can get.
Top choice for sure!
CUSTOM AVATAR – MORTAR QA
Trophies Required: 10
I will say that the Mortar QA avatar didn’t make it high on my list of avatars to buy at first, simply because I wasn’t a huge fan of the art style, but I’d be a liar if I didn’t say that it grew on me.
The Mortar QA avatar is another cutesy avatar with a Mortar Monkey smiling as he makes his way out of the barrel of his mortar.
I’ll be honest, this is the next avatar on my list to try out, especially because of how cheery it is.
JUKEBOX: FIESTA FLAMENCO -SYNTHWAVE MIX
Trophies Required: 40
For players who are big fans of the of the Fiesta Flamenco, you should check out this awesome remake that gives it a more contemporary Synth vibe for players to jam out to.
Players can access this song through the Jukebox when players select the Main Menu Settings.
CUSTOM POWER – SUPER VAMPIRE STORM
Trophies Required: 20
For players who want their “Super Monkey Storm” power to have a spooky vibe to it, they can purchase the Super Vampire Storm cosmetic which replaces the classic Super Monkeys with vampire bats instead.
While perfect for Halloween these spooks add a lot of character to the game, being the first reskins to Powers.
Good on you NinjaKiwi for adding something into the game that I didn’t know I was missing!
CUSTOM AVATAR – FRANKENMONKEY (LIMITED EDITION FROM HALLOWEEN 2020)
Trophies Required: 10
For players who are seeking out a darker aesthetic to show off their moodier side, look no further than the Frakenmonkey avatar.
The Frankenmonkey avatar is the first grayscale avatar that features a Monkey with the typical bolt in the head Frankenstein aesthetic.
CUSTOM POWER – COFFIN DROP (LIMITED EDITION FROM HALLOWEEN 2020)
Trophies Required: 25
At first I was confused as to what the Coffin Drop actually reskinned, initially thinking that it reskinned the Sniper Monkey’s Supply Drop and while I have to admit that I still wish that it reskinned the Sniper Monkey’s Supply Drop, what it actually reskins is the Crate Drop, into a Coffin.
While not as useful for players who do not regularly use Crate Drops, I definitely still recommend this drop as the coffins that are dropped are absolutely adorable.
Coffins will be grey with blue bat wings coming out of it.
CUSTOM POWER – THE GRIM FARMER (LIMITED EDITION FROM HALLOWEEN 2020)
Trophies Required: 50
For players who are interested in changing the cosmetics of their Monkey Farmer into something more dark, check out The Grim Farmer reskin.
The Grim Farmer is an adorable choice for all players to add, reskinning the Monkey Farmer as a classic Grim Reaper that has blue flaming eyes, cloak and scythe.
CUSTOM AVATAR – WOLF MONKEY (LIMITED EDITION FROM HALLOWEEN 2020)
Trophies Required: 10
For players who aren’t as interested in the other spooky additions for avatars, they can look forward to the Wolf Monkey avatar, which features a Monkey that has been transformed into a Werewolf.
I will admit, I wish that the Wolf Monkey avatar was a bit darker, though instead it features a WereMonkey with a bright orange and pink background.
I will say that the Wolf Monkey avatar is still adorable, especially the expression of the Monkey’s face and his adorable Sunglasses.
