Rogues get your weapons ready and get ready to join the Syndicate. Of the three Factions, the Syndicate are the most stealthy of all the other Factions.
Syndicate have the second most interesting story and for some reason are the most popular Faction on the majority of servers. It is uncertain why this is, but if you want you want a decent chance to get into a Company and don’t have many or any friends to play the game with, I strongly recommend you choose Syndicate.
As I mentioned in the overall Faction guide, your choice in Faction really doesn’t matter other than Lore and if you truly wanted to complete all of the quests for all of the Factions you are free to do so with a cooldown. While at first, I thought about writing about everything you need to know about Factions in that post, it simply got to the point where there was too much information and I thought it would be much simpler to break things down by separate Faction at this point.
This guide will pretty much take you through all the different locations for each of the level-up quests, however, it will not take you through any of the Brimstone Sands quests as I’ve already covered that in its own post.
Let’s get to chatting about everything you need to know about our rogues, the Syndicate.
HOW TO BECOME A SYNDICATE
To begin players will need to complete a good portion of their Main Story quest and will unlock Syndicate Initiation.
The area where the quest is located will depend on where you were initially placed in Aeternum. The three starting Settlements are now Windsward, First Light and Monarch’s Bluffs.
Although each of the quests takes place in a different location, all will be quite simple as this is the shortest of all of the Faction quests.
When players have joined the Syndicate they will be able to hold a total of 7,500 Tokens, before they must spend them.
TRIAL OF THE SCRIVENER / SYNDICATE ADVANCEMENT: SCRIVENER
The Trial of the Scrivener is the second Mission that players will have to complete when they are a Syndicate. This quest is part of the Syndicate Advancement: Scrivener.
To begin players will need to reach level 24/25 and will need 3,000 Faction Reputation. To start players will need to head to Brightwood and speak to Laurentius Krockes to obtain the actual Trial of the Scrivener.
At this point, players will receive a new Waymark which tells them what mobs they need to farm.
Players will be able to hold 15,000 Faction Tokens at this level.
TRIAL OF THE CHRONICLER / SYNDICATE ADVANCEMENT: CHRONICLER
The Trial of the Ravager is the third Mission that players will have to complete when they are a Syndicate. This quest is part of the Syndicate Advancement: Chronicler.
To begin players will need to reach level 40 and will need 11,000 Faction Reputation. To begin players will need to head to Weaver’s Fen and speak to Alchemist Rubis to obtain the actual Trial of the Chronicler.
At this point, players will receive a new Waymark which tells them what mobs they need to farm.
Players will be able to hold 22,500 Faction Tokens at this level.
TRIAL OF THE CABALIST/ SYNDICATE ADVANCEMENT: CABALIST
The Trial of the Cabalist is the fourth Mission that players will have to complete when they are a Syndicate. This quest is part of the Syndicate Advancement: Cabalist.
To begin players will need to reach level 45/50 and will need 26,000 Faction Reputation. To start players will need to head to Mourningdale and speak to Cabalist Crawford to obtain the actual Trial of the Gladiator.
At this point, players will receive a new Waymark which tells them what mobs they need to farm.
Players will be able to hold 37,500 Faction Tokens at this level.
TRIAL OF THE ALCHEMIST/ SYNDICATE ADVANCEMENT: ALCHEMIST
The Trial of the Alchemist is the final Mission that players will have to complete when they are a Syndicate. This quest is part of the Syndicate Advancement: Alchemist.
To begin players will need to reach level 50/60 and will need 49,000 Faction Reputation. To start players will need to head to Reekwater and speak to Duarte Santos to obtain the actual Trial of the Alchemist.
At this point, players will receive a new Waymark which tells them what mobs they need to farm
Players will be able to hold 75,000 Faction Tokens at this level.
