If you’ve been a reader of the blog for even a few weeks, you know how frustrating I find quests that don’t have waypoints on the map, simply because I’m a truly lazy player.
While I understand the appeal of hidden mechanisms and puzzles, it is very clear that the main reason I love playing Genshin Impact is for the amount of combat it provides players and the insane fun and satisfaction successfully triggering Elemental Reactions, including the challenge of the Spiral Abyss, as rage inducing as that can be.
While I must admit that I have a fascination with travelling around Teyvat and discovering new puzzles and farming Chests around the world, the fact that there are easier ways of completing tasks like this makes this element of the game much more bearable for me as before I had the Geo or Anemo Compass.
When it comes to completing Puzzles, in many cases players will be able to quickly solve them, though when it comes to the puzzles players must solve to obtain the Nameless Treasure it can be a bit trickier for players to actually find all the elements of it as they are far apart from each other and sometimes have trickier mechanics that aren’t as obvious for players.
Today I’m going to cover one of the puzzles players will have to locate and complete in Genshin Impact to get the Nameless Treasure, though realistically I have to admit that this is one of the easier puzzles to complete.
Upon finding the first couple of Geo markings in this area, it should be fairly straight forward where the next ones are, especially if players have a good understanding of their surroundings or understand how things are normally hidden in Genshin Impact.
For those of you struggling though, the following are some tips for you when completing this part of the challenge:
GEO MARKING #1
In order to begin their journey, players will have to head to the top of the tower in Qingxu Pool in order to locate a Geo Marking on the floor that is in front of a tablet.
Players will be prompted the tablet that they will be able to activate markings on the floor in order to complete this puzzle.
Players will have to get on one of their Geo characters to begin this puzzle, good choices include the Geo Traveler, Ningguang, Zhongli or even Noelle, though Noelle’s cooldowns are pretty long compared to many of the other Geo characters players can select.
If players have Ningguang, players can utilize her basic attacks though this may take some practice as they will essentially need to bounce her basic attacks off the walls in order for them to hit the markings on the floor.
GEO MARKING #2
Depending how you look at it, the second Geo Marking is the easiest or hardest to find.
Players will have to look left of the first marking to see a Tower that will have the Geo marking on the floor.
The photo above is not the location of the Geo Marking and instead is a picture of how close the Tower is, though players will easily be able to find the Marking inside of this Tower.
Activate it and move onto the next marking.
GEO MARKING #3
The third Geo Marking is located on an exposed Pillar on the right of the previous Geo Marking.
This is by far the easiest marking to activate simply due to the fact that there is no roof on top of it, but it can be difficult to locate if players do not have a good amount of spatial awareness.
Upon activating this marking, players will unlock wind tunnels that they will be able to ride in order to locate the next Geo Markings.
GEO MARKING #4
To locate the next Geo Marking, players are encouraged to take the Wind Currents and fly through the rings in order to find the Tower associated to it.
Players shouldn’t have difficulty with this unless they got lost on the way, but it should be simple enough to turn back and ride the wind currents again to reroute themselves into the right direction.
GEO MARKING #5
The last Geo Marking can be difficult to locate as there aren’t very many clues as to where it is.
The best way to describe it is that it is closest to the south as you can get while still being in the same area at the edge of the circle.
Players will need to climb in order to get here, where they will locate another Tower that has a Geo Marking.
After completing this players will have to head back to the starting point to collect the Nameless Treasure.
