How To Get Giant Chest & Loot | PewDiePie’s Pixelings

Last Updated January 4, 2021 By Johnny Salib / FlamingGaymer Leave a Comment

The Giant Chest is by far the most important form of loot you can receive when playing PewDiePie’s Pixelings. The Giant Chest currently comes in two variants being the Giant Chest and Giant+ Chest.

The Giant Chest is given to players at random after beating a main story level that has a chest extra reward. Players may also receive a Giant Chest after completing any PVP match, whether they win or lose.

It is currently unknown what the chance of a Giant Chest dropping is, however, if a player is getting antsy they may purchase a Giant+ chest for 4000 Bux. Saving Bux for a Giant+ Chest is the best use for Bux, however, if a player only relies on daily rewards it will take them months before they will be able to purchase one.

Giant Chests and Giant+ Chests are the only way players can get a guaranteed Mythic Pixeling, however, there is no reliable way to farm Giant Chests as receiving one is all RNG.

GIANT CHEST DROP RATES

The giant chest contains one guaranteed mythic egg plus 4 eggs with the following odds:

10.3% chance for Common Egg (x16 Common Pixeling Copies)

66.7% chance for Uncommon Egg (x4 Uncommon Pixeling Copies)

16.7% chance for Rare Egg (x2 Rare Pixeling Copies)

6.3% chance for Mythic Egg (x1 Mythic Pixeling Copy)

The giant chest contains one coin pouch with the following chance:

50% chance for 600 coins

33% chance for 1200 coins

17% chance for 1800 coins

GIANT+ CHEST

The Giant+ chest contains one guaranteed Mythic Pixeling plus four eggs with the following chance:

1.7% chance for  Common Egg (x16 Common Pixeling copies)

67% chance for  Uncommon Egg (x8 Uncommon Pixeling copies)

25% chance for Rare Egg (x2 Rare Pixeling copy)

6.3% chance for Mythic (x1 Mythic Pixeling copy)

The Giant+ chest contains one coin pouch with the following chance:

50% chance for 12,000 coins

33% chance for 24,000 coins

17% chance 36,000 coins

WHEN SHOULD I INCUBATE A GIANT CHEST

Incubating a Giant Chest should only be done when you see a Pixeling you want in the top left-hand corner of the chest window. These are the Pixelings that are more likely to drop from chests during the 24-hour period, though I can confirm that the drop is not guaranteed.

Out of 5 Chests, only 2 have dropped the Mythic Pixeling that was more likely to drop. Again, this information has not been confirmed by Outerminds.

CAN GIANT CHESTS DROP ARENA PIXELINGS?

Yes, Giant Chests can drop Arena Pixelings, however, you must rank yourself up to the tier that is associated with the Pixeling you want. The higher your PVP rank, the better the Pixelings you receive.

Why do I mention this? Well, if you already have all the Pixelings you want currently, save your Giant Chests for Slumberland or Crushtopia because some of those Pixelings might be even better than our girl Lulu.

You can see how the Mythic Pixelings rank here and the Rare Pixelings here.
