Arkasodara Beast Tribe FFXIV

Last Updated June 9, 2022 By Johnny Salib / FlamingGaymer Leave a Comment

It feels like it’s been forever since I last wrote about Final Fantasy 14, which is so off-brand for me since I can’t seem to stop talking about FFXIV on Twitch to the point where my community made a Bingo that incorporates how much I talk about the game.

If you’ve been following my blog for any amount of time, I’m sure you’re very well aware of how much I am in love with completing Beast Tribes and side content in FFXIV, being my primary focus in the game.

I proudly rush all of the Beast Tribes that come out, being the proud owner of all the Mounts and have previously covered all of the Beast Tribes including the Realm Reborn Beast Tribes, Heavensward Beast Tribes and Stormblood Beast Tribes. As soon as my husband told me that there was a new Beast Tribe that came out I rushed into my FFXIV account to get to know everything I could about it.

While we don’t know everything about the Arkasodara Beast Tribe, as it is new, there is a good amount of data that we do know, especially because folks have data mined the information we need.

The following guide will take you through everything you need to know about the Arkasodara Beast Tribe and will be updated as I get closer to completing all the quests for the Beast Tribe.

HOW DO YOU UNLOCK THE ARKASODARA TRIBAL QUESTS?

The Arkasodara Beast Tribe is going to take a few steps to unlock and requires players to complete three sets of side quests in order to fully unlock. As I personally took a break from completing side quest content shortly after due to my carpal tunnel acting up, I didn’t actually complete the side quests required until the Beast Tribe was out.

Players who are obsessive about completing any side quest as soon as they are released may already have these quests complete, though if you are in a situation like me, these are the quests you will have to complete:

Players will have to complete the main Endwalker quest first, which is the final quest of the Endwalker expansion.

Players will also need to complete the following two side quest lines which intermingle with each other:

STEPPE CHILD SIDEQUEST

The Steppe Child Side Quest is an Aether Current Sidequest that most players will have completed as soon as they can so they can fly in Thavnair. The following are all the sidequests associated with it:

Steppe Child: Thavnair (X: 25.6, Y: 36.1)

The Matanga Along the Way: Thavnair (X: 25.4, Y: 31.2)

Ogul Repays Her Favors: Thavnair (X: 19.0, Y: 33.8)

The Yedlihmad Hunt: Thavnair (X: 25.4, Y: 31.3)

WHAT’S IN A PARENT SIDEQUEST

The What’s in a Parent sidequest tends to be the sidequest that most people would not have completed. Unfortunately, other than unlocking the Arkasodara Beast Tribe, there is no other real purpose to complete these otherwise.

The quests associated with this sidequest are the following:

What’s in a Parent: Thavnair (X: 29.2, Y: 15.3)

Curing What Ails: Thavnair (X: 29.6, Y: 17.2)

The Sins We Bear: Thavnair (X: 29.6, Y: 17.2)

Societal Alchemy: Thavnair (X: 29.7, Y: 16.2)

A BUDDING ADVENTURE

After players do the above quests they will have access to A Budding Adventure which is the second last quest before players can begin the Arkasodara Beast Tribe Quests.

A Budding Adventure requires players to locate Yezahn in Thavnair (X:29.6, Y: 17.2) in order to begin it.

This quest is very straight forward and all locations will be waypoint.

HIPPOS BORN TO RUN

The final quest players must complete in order to unlock the Arkasodara Beast Tribe Quests is called Hippos are Born to Run. This quest is found in Thavnair at X:25.3, Y:31.2.

This quest also only appears if players have completed all of the quests above.
