A Realm Reborn Beast Tribes (+ Locations) | FFXIV

Last Updated February 17, 2022 By Johnny Salib / FlamingGaymer Leave a Comment

Earlier last week I got myself back into FFXIV in prep for getting ready for the new expansion pack that’s set to come out in November, Endwalkers.

In order to level up my side jobs in hopes of getting them to level 80 in time for the expansion I’ve been grinding a majority of the Beast Tribes; as Beast Tribes provide players with short tasks that players can grind out daily in order to get bursts of experience while the cool downs are up for the daily roulettes.

Beast Tribes are especially nice for players who are trying to get their crafter’s and gatherer’s levelled up, as the burst in experience tends to be a lot more beneficial for casual players than completing their levelling in other ways. Though, if you’re curious, my husband actually has a great guide on how you level your Crafters efficiently.

Back on the topic of Beast Tribes though, the Realm Reborn Beast Tribe are the first Beast Tribes that players will have access to, being able to unlock some of them as early as level 41.

A Realm Reborn consists of 5 Beast Tribes, the Amalj’aa, Sylph, Kobold, Sahagin and Ixali. Each of these Beast Tribes require players to unlock them individually, essentially needing players to do a series of quests in order to unlock them.

While some of the Beast Tribes are unlocked at level 41, some require players to be as high as level 44 in order to begin their quests.

Players will have to complete the level 41 Main Story Quest In Persuit of the Past before any of the Beast Tribes can be accessed.

The following guide will take you through everything you need to know about the A Realm Reborn Beast Tribes, including how to unlock them and their notable rewards, though I will cover all the rewards and quests that players can complete for each Beast Tribe on their own page for some brevity of such an extensive topic.

Note: If you want to watch me play games like FFXIV on Twitch head on over here! I’m always happy to answer your questions there as well!
