Staff Training is by far one of the most important aspects of playing Two Point Hospital as the more a staff member is trained the more effective they become at diagnosing and providing treatment to patients.
Players will be able to train any staff member in the game, though some staff members are more important to train early on than others, meaning that players will want to make themselves relatively aware as to what the training courses are in order to successfully train their staff to complete the scenario they are currently on.
While most employees will be able to work in the majority of rooms, there are a number of rooms that require specific training in order to enter and administer treatment, I will cover which ones these are as they tend to be the more important rooms that players want to focus on due to their high yield in income and their need to have a staff member trained early on in order to help early waves of patients that will require such treatment.
The following guide will take you through everything you need to know about training and what training players will need to focus on early on. This guide will also take you through the strategies players should try to focus on in order to ensure that their Hospital is running as smooth as possible.
ABILITY, RANK AND EXPERIENCE
Unfortunately staff cannot be trained endlessly and will require experience in order to level up and gain Rank.
An employee’s Ability can be increased to 5 stars simply by giving them promotions whenever they have enough experience to rank up.
When hiring staff players will want to make sure that they are aware as to what ability rank employees are as there are many situations where a freshly hired employee can learn a new skill immediately and in other situations when a new employee is placed they will have to gain some experience before learning a new skill.
Staff will always gain experience for completing their tasks, no matter how big or small and players will be able to tell how much experience the employee has by hovering over their stars, also being able to tell how much more experience they need before they can be promoted.
The first stages of promotions require less amounts of experience, while other stages may take up to a few hours in order to begin training an employee.
The following are the experience costs players will have to acquire in order to promote their staff:
RANK 1
All staff members who are hired area always at least Rank 1 and will be able to receive initial training, even if they have no skills.
RANK 2
Rank 2 requires an employee to collect 100 experience before being able to be promoted.
RANK 3
Rank 3 requires an employee to collect 200 experience before being able to be promoted.
RANK 4
Rank 4 requires an employee to collect 300 experience before being able to be promoted.
RANK 5
Rank 5 requires an employee to collect 400 experience before being able to be promoted.
HOW DO YOU TRAIN A STAFF MEMBER?
Staff Members can only be trained by using Training Rooms.
Training Rooms require at least one Lectern and one Trainee Desk with the always necessary door in order to properly train their staff.
Players will be able to train an unlimited amount of staff as long as they have enough Trainee Desks placed in their room, making the Training Room one of the more important rooms to build larger than usual.
To begin training, players must select the lecturn to access the training menu. Players will have to choose what course they would like to train employees in, who they would like to use to train employees and which employees they would like to train.
Players will have the option to train employees using another employee who has the skill or will be able to outsource a trainer for a fee.
In many cases players will want to train their employees using other employees as long as there is enough staff to fill the spaces that will be lacking employees, though it is optimal for players to train staff members as soon as possible as this will ensure that a hospital is well managed and taken care of, even though it takes a bit of money.
Luckily, it doesn’t matter what role an employee has when training, meaning that a Nurse can train a Doctor as a Janitor can also train a Nurse, etc. This is true as long as the training being given is one that both jobs share.
When it comes to hiring a guest teacher the costs will vary, all having a base charge of $10,000, but costing between $5,000-$25,000 extra for every employee being trained depending on the level of training.
This means that skills such as General Practice V will cost more than General Practice II. Players should try to be less frugal when it comes to training higher level jobs, however, they should remain fairly frugal when training lower staff and use their own staff to train up to save money.
If a player is flooded with money, they can always use a guest teacher, though it’s not a big deal at the end of the day.
As players will have to pay extra to train multiple employees using a guest teacher, players may want to stick to teaching one employee at a time and train the other employee, especially if the skill is a more advanced one.
HOW LONG DOES TRAINING A STAFF MEMBER TAKE?
Training a staff member will take more time if an employee is learning a more difficult tasks.
Essentially each course has a hidden Training Unit number associated with it that is associated to the amount of experience required in order to be able to execute the teaching, essentially meaning that a course that requires 240 Training Units to teach will last 240 seconds.
Training can take a number of days to complete, especially if players have no resources or structures that will speed training.
Players can effectively reduce training from as much as 30 days to as little as 2 or 1 days.
Players will want to spend some time focussing on ways to speed up training as having an employee or two out at a time for month lapses can really hinder a hospital and in reality having a well-trained staff member as quickly as possible is obviously much more effective for players.
Every employee has a base training speed and a base learning speed, which cannot be changed unfortunately… well the base itself, I will cover shortly the various ways to speed up training in general.
HOW TO SPEED UP TRAINING SPEEDS
Training can be sped up in a variety of ways, including being able to to place objects, training employees to learn and teach faster and looking for employees with certain traits.
TEACHER MASTERCLASS QUALIFICATION
Quite possibly the first way players will bluntly notice a change in teaching and learning speeds is the Teacher Masterclass qualification.
The Teacher Masterclass Qualification is my least favourite method in which players can increase their learning and teaching skills as it will require players to essentially waste a training slot on a method of raising training speed.
Players can, however, hire employees with this qualification if they are running low on employees and would like to use them simply because they have other decent qualifications.
I wouldn’t go out of your way to give an employee this qualification unless you have no other ways to speed up training (ie. when you first start off.)
Essentially the Teacher Masterclass qualification will increase teaching speeds by 50% and learning speeds by 50%.
THE TEACHER TRAIT
One of the things most players don’t pay attention to are the traits that their staff come with, one being the Teacher trait.
When hiring employees, players will be given a list of traits that come with perks or downfalls.
The Teacher trait will provide employees to train employees at a 50% higher speed.
THE FASTER LEARNER TRAIT
Similarly, some employees come with a Learner trait which will provide them with a 50% learning speed buff.
Both of these perks can be good to have, however, players should not worry too hard about side traits as they can easily be outranked.
THE STUPID TRAIT
If players are worried about the slow speeds of training they should try to avoid hiring employees with the Stupid trait.
While players may be quick to assume that the Stupid trait will reduce training speed by 50%, players will be happy to note that the Stupid trait actually only reduces training speed by 25%.
This can be easily counter balanced, though it is best to avoid these employees as there is nothing good about them unless they have other qualities that are more rare or important for the scenario.
RESOURCES THAT SPEED UP TRAINING
There are a number of resources players can place in a Training Room in order to speed up training, the best in my experience is the Encyclopedia Bookcase II which will provide players with 2% training speed for each one placed in that is in the room.
Players with lots of money can essentially keep stacking the Encyclopedia Bookcase II in order to reduce training speeds to as lo as a day of training and I strongly recommend this, especially if you are trying to train multiple employees at once.
Promotions on their own will provide employees with better speeds and skills, though players will also want to ensure that they train an employee as this is where the majority of the improvements come from.
HOW TO TELL IF YOUR EMPLOYEE IS READY FOR A PROMOTION
Players will be able to tell if an employee is ready to train in a variety of ways.
The first way is to receive a notification from the employee stating that they are ready for the promotion, though players can always open the employee menu in order to double check if they’ve missed an employee’s training by seeing whether or not the employee has a full white circle around one of their stars.
Players will either be able to choose to promote this staff member, essentially giving a raise to said employee or will be able to delay the promotion if they are worried that they do not have enough money.
Promotions are required in order to provide players with another learning qualification and without the promotion players will actually be unable to continue training their employees or gain enough experience to continue training them later on.
In my opinion a player’s best option is to always promote an employee immediately as the time gate caused by experience tends to be quite annoying in the later round of things.
WHAT ARE THE QUALIFICATIONS EMPLOYEES CAN GAIN AND WHAT ARE THE BEST?
There are a great variety of qualifications that employees can gain, though realistically many of the qualifications are not considered necessary to have.
The following are every type of qualification that can be given to an employee and which ones I think players should focus on when training employees.
SKILL DEVELOPMENT QUALIFICATIONS
Skill Development qualifications have different tiers and allow a player to increase the efficiency of their employees, meaning that these are the most important qualifications players will want to give their employees.
Some Skill Development qualifications cross from different forms of employees, though some tend to be more useful for some types of employees more than others.
Skill Development qualifications do not help employees work in new rooms, however, they will provide players with higher chances of being successful at the task they are doing and will also ensure that they are performing their tasks at the fastest pace possible.
The following is everything you need to know about Skill Development qualifications:
CUSTOMER SERVICE
The Customer Service qualification can only be taught to Assistants and will help increase an Assistant’s Reception and Retail skills.
Players will want to make sure that they maximize the Customer Service skill fairly early on as all patients will have to go through reception and the reality is that the majority of kiosks provide more benefits than Vending Machines.
The following is all the information you need to know about training Assistants in Customer Service:
CUSTOMER SERVICE I
50% Customer Service Skill
240 Training Units
Guest Trainer Cost: $10,000 + $5,000 per trainee
CUSTOMER SERVICE II
50% Customer Service Skill
300 Training Units
Guest Trainer Cost: $10,000 + $10,000 per trainee
CUSTOMER SERVICE III
50% Customer Service Skill
360 Training Units
Guest Trainer Cost: $10,000 + $15,000 per trainee
CUSTOMER SERVICE IV
50% Customer Service Skill
420 Training Units
Guest Trainer Cost: $10,000 + $20,000 per trainee
CUSTOMER SERVICE V
50% Customer Service Skill
480 Training Units
Guest Trainer Cost: $10,000 + $25,000 per trainee
DIAGNOSTICS
The Diagnosis qualification can be taught to Doctors and Nurses and will help increase both of their Diagnosis Skills.
Improving your diagnosis skill will both be able to speed up the time of diagnosis and the accuracy of diagnosis making it fairly important to upgrade, though in my opinion not the most important.
Players will want to make sure that any Nurses or Doctors that work in Diagnosis rooms (other than General Practice) has this qualification maxed out by end game, though as diagnosis cannot actually fail it is much better to focus on treatment when applicable.
The following is all the information you need to know about training Doctors and Nurses in Diagnosis:
DIAGNOSIS I
10% Diagnosis Skill
240 Training Units
Guest Trainer Cost: $10,000 + $5,000 per trainee
DIAGNOSIS II
10% Diagnosis Skill
300 Training Units
Guest Trainer Cost: $10,000 + $10,000 per trainee
DIAGNOSIS III
10% Diagnosis Skill
360 Training Units
Guest Trainer Cost: $10,000 + $15,000 per trainee
DIAGNOSIS IV
10% Diagnosis Skill
420 Training Units
Guest Trainer Cost: $10,000 + $20,000 per trainee
DIAGNOSIS V
10% Diagnosis Skill
480 Training Units
Guest Trainer Cost: $10,000 + $25,000 per trainee
GENERAL PRACTICE
The General Practice qualification can only be taught to Doctors and will help increase a Doctor’s Diagnosis Skill in the General Practice.
While players may be confused as to why players would choose General Practice over Diagnosis, it’s simply because players can essentially be able to fully diagnose a patient with General Practice with the skills over Diagnosis.
The General Practice quality also provide players extra bonus stats that Diagnosis does not provide, which I will cover shortly.
Players will want to make sure that they maximize the General Practice skill first if possible as General Practice is the only room that all patients will go through and will often be the most overwhelmed room in all hospitals.
I try to upgrade as many General Practitioners to General Practice V as early as possible as this really helps with the flow of a hospital, especially in the mid-to-late game,
The following is all the information you need to know about training Doctors in General Practice:
GENERAL PRACTICE I
15% General Practice Skill
240 Training Units
Guest Trainer Cost: $10,000 + $5,000 per trainee
GENERAL PRACTICE II
15% General Practice Skill
300 Training Units
Guest Trainer Cost: $10,000 + $10,000 per trainee
GENERAL PRACTICE III
15% General Practice Skill
360 Training Units
Guest Trainer Cost: $10,000 + $15,000 per trainee
GENERAL PRACTICE IV
15% General Practice Skill
420 Training Units
Guest Trainer Cost: $10,000 + $20,000 per trainee
GENERAL PRACTICE V
15% General Practice Skill
480 Training Units
Guest Trainer Cost: $10,000 + $25,000 per trainee
MAINTENANCE
The Maintenance qualification can only be taught to Janitors and will help increase a Janitor’s Repair and Maintenance skills.
The Maintenance qualification is quite an important one to train your Janitors in as it will ensure that they are always keep machines repaired and maintained and floors cleaned.
Keeping a well maintained hospital is extremely important as it will ensure that the reputation of your hospital doesn’t drop.
I personally like to train all my Janitors as quickly as possible to make sure that no machines explode, because Lord knows… explosions are annoying especially with upgraded machines.
The following is all the information you need to know about training Janitor in Maintenance:
MAINTENANCE I
30% Maintenance Skill
240 Training Units
Guest Trainer Cost: $10,000 + $5,000 per trainee
MAINTENANCE II
30% Maintenance Skill
300 Training Units
Guest Trainer Cost: $10,000 + $10,000 per trainee
MAINTENANCE III
30% Maintenance Skill
360 Training Units
Guest Trainer Cost: $10,000 + $15,000 per trainee
MAINTENANCE IV
30% Maintenance Skill
420 Training Units
Guest Trainer Cost: $10,000 + $20,000 per trainee
MAINTENANCE V
30% Maintenance Skill
480 Training Units
Guest Trainer Cost: $10,000 + $25,000 per trainee
TREATMENT
The Treatment qualification can be taught to Doctors and Nurses and will help increase a Doctors’ and Nurses’ treatment skill, essentially ensuring a higher chance that treatment is successful.
Treatment tends to be another very important skill to teach all your Doctors and Nurses that are working in treatment facilities.
Treatment is important for players who are trying to ensure that as little patients die as possible, though even with maxed out treatment stats there is still a chance that patients will still die, which honestly isn’t as bad as long as enough patients are being cleared.
The following is all the information you need to know about training Doctors and Nurses in Treatment:
TREATMENT I
10% Treatment Skill
240 Training Units
Guest Trainer Cost: $10,000 + $5,000 per trainee
TREATMENT II
10% Treatment Skill

TREATMENT IV
10% Treatment Skill
420 Training Units
Guest Trainer Cost: $10,000 + $20,000 per trainee
TREATMENT V
10% Treatment Skill
480 Training Units
Guest Trainer Cost: $10,000 + $25,000 per trainee
WARD MANAGEMENT
The Ward Management qualification can only be taught to Nurses and will help increase a Nurse’s Diagnosis and Treatment skill while working in the Ward.
Players will want to maximize on their Ward Management skills on any employees who are working in either the Ward or Fracture Ward as this will heavily improve a Nurse’s skill to better care for patients and will actually make sure that the Ward never gets overwhelmed.
The nice thing about the Ward Management qualification is that it will technically train Nurses in multiple skills, meaning that players will not need to add any other qualifications to these Nurses and allow them to specialize.
Similar to the General Practice qualification, Ward Management qualifications give higher boosts than the standard Diagnosis and Treatment, making it a bit brainless to train your Nurses.
The following is all the information you need to know about training Nurses in Ward Management:
WARD MANAGEMENT I
20% Ward Management Skill
240 Training Units
Guest Trainer Cost: $10,000 + $5,000 per trainee
WARD MANAGEMENT II
20% Ward Management Skill
300 Training Units
Guest Trainer Cost: $10,000 + $10,000 per trainee
WARD MANAGEMENT III
20% Ward Management Skill
360 Training Units
Guest Trainer Cost: $10,000 + $15,000 per trainee
WARD MANAGEMENT IV
20% Ward Management Skill
420 Training Units
Guest Trainer Cost: $10,000 + $20,000 per trainee
WARD MANAGEMENT V
20% Ward Management Skill
480 Training Units
Guest Trainer Cost: $10,000 + $25,000 per trainee
SKILL & TECHNICAL DEVELOPMENT QUALIFICATIONS
The Skill and Technical Development qualifications allow players to allow employees to do specific jobs, often allowing employees to enter rooms that they would not be able to enter otherwise or to do tasks that they would not be able to do otherwise.
Skill and Technical Development qualifications have multiple tiers, unlike simple Technical Development Only qualifications and thus players will want to ensure that they maximize these stats as early as possible.
The following is everything you need to know in regards to Skill and Technical Development qualifications:
MARKETING
The Marketing qualification can only be taught to Assistants and will help increase an Assistant’s Marketing skills.
Marketing skills will not only allow Assistants to enter the Marketing room, but will also ensure that Marketers are working to the best of their capabilities, essentially raising the amount of patients they bring in, increase the amount of reputation they output as well as raise the chances that a more qualified staff member is obtained by marketing for them.
While not necessary, it is extremely useful to train your Marketing Assistants in higher versions of Marketing as it will require the player to use less staff members to yield higher rewards.
The following is all the information you need to know about training Assistants in Marketing:
MARKETING I
Allows an Assistant to work in Marketing
240 Training Units
Guest Trainer Cost: $10,000 + $5,000 per trainee
MARKETING II
20% Marketing Skill
300 Training Units
Guest Trainer Cost: $10,000 + $10,000 per trainee
MARKETING III
20% Marketing Skill
360 Training Units
Guest Trainer Cost: $10,000 + $15,000 per trainee
MARKETING IV
20% Marketing Skill
420 Training Units
Guest Trainer Cost: $10,000 + $20,000 per trainee
MARKETING V
20% Marketing Skill
480 Training Units
Guest Trainer Cost: $10,000 + $25,000 per trainee
MECHANICS
The Customer Service qualification can only be taught to Mechanics and will help increase a Mechanic’s ability to upgrade machines.
Quite frankly, I rarely actually teach my Janitors too many tiers of Mechanics, but the reality is that it’s a shot in the foot for me.
Essentially the higher a Janitor’s skills are in Mechanics the faster they will be able to upgrade a machine, meaning that a room has less downtime.
The only bad thing about giving a Janitor Mechanics is that there will always be a finite amount of machines players will need to upgrade as each machine only has three upgrade tiers, so getting the Janitor to learn Mechanics early is a necessity.
Players will want to ensure that they focus on Mechanics early on to make the most use of this skill, especially before a hospital gets swamped with patients, though with higher tiers of Mechanics this is much less of a problem.
The following is all the information you need to know about training Janitors in Mechanics:
MECHANICS I
Allows a Mechanic to upgrade machines
240 Training Units
Guest Trainer Cost: $10,000 + $5,000 per trainee
MECHANICS II
50% Mechanics Skill
300 Training Units
Guest Trainer Cost: $10,000 + $10,000 per trainee
MECHANICS III
50% Mechanics Skill
360 Training Units
Guest Trainer Cost: $10,000 + $15,000 per trainee
MECHANICS IV
50% Mechanics Skill
420 Training Units
Guest Trainer Cost: $10,000 + $20,000 per trainee
MECHANICS V
50% Mechanics Skill
480 Training Units
Guest Trainer Cost: $10,000 + $25,000 per trainee
PSYCHIATRY
The Psychiatry qualification can only be taught to Doctors and will help increase an Doctor’s ability to Diagnose and provide treatment in Psychiatry.
Players will want to have a Psychiatrist early on in the game as many of the scenarios require a Doctor with Psychiatry in order to treat patients.
Similar to the General Practice qualification, players will want to ensure that Doctors that work in Psychiatry are only trained in Psychiatry as they will gain all the stats they need without the need of additional Diagnosis or Treatment skills, also gaining more to each of the stats while in Psychiatry.
The following is all the information you need to know about training Doctors in Psychiatry:
PSYCHIATRY I
Allows a Doctor to work in Psychiatry
240 Training Units
Guest Trainer Cost: $10,000 + $5,000 per trainee
PSYCHIATRY II
20% Psychiatry Skill
300 Training Units
Guest Trainer Cost: $10,000 + $10,000 per trainee
PSYCHIATRY III
20% Psychiatry Skill
360 Training Units
Guest Trainer Cost: $10,000 + $15,000 per trainee
PSYCHIATRY IV
20% Psychiatry Skill
420 Training Units
Guest Trainer Cost: $10,000 + $20,000 per trainee
PSYCHIATRY V
20% Psychiatry Skill
480 Training Units
Guest Trainer Cost: $10,000 + $25,000 per trainee
RESEARCH
The Research qualification can only be taught to Doctors and will help allow Doctors to research projects faster.
The crappy thing about the Research Qualification is the fact that Level II to V must be researched, essentially meaning that players will have to spend a good amount of time researching the improvements of this qualification.
Other than researching higher tiers of the Research Qualification, players will use Research Doctors to research new rooms for treatment, Kudosh, Money or other qualifications that are initially locked to players.
The following is all the information you need to know about training Doctors in Research:
RESEARCH I
Allows a Doctor to work in Research
240 Training Units
Guest Trainer Cost: $10,000 + $5,000 per trainee
RESEARCH II
50% Research Skill
300 Training Units
Guest Trainer Cost: $10,000 + $10,000 per trainee
RESEARCH III
50% Research Skill
360 Training Units
Guest Trainer Cost: $10,000 + $15,000 per trainee
RESEARCH IV
50% Research Skill
420 Training Units
Guest Trainer Cost: $10,000 + $20,000 per trainee
RESEARCH V
50% Research Skill
480 Training Units
Guest Trainer Cost: $10,000 + $25,000 per trainee
SURGERY
The Surgery qualification can only be taught to Doctors and will help increase an Doctor’s ability to proficiently perform Surgery.
Surgery is by far the most useful qualification to provide Doctors as it yields the most profit in comparison to other forms of treatment.
Players will want to make sure that they have as many Surgery Doctors as they can, especially if they want to run several Marketing Campaigns for Surgery patients, which tends to be a pretty common end game strategy in order to continuously make money.
The following is all the information you need to know about training Doctors in Surgery:
SURGERY I
Allows a Doctor to work in Surgery
240 Training Units
Guest Trainer Cost: $10,000 + $5,000 per trainee
SURGERY II

SURGERY V
20% Surgery Skill
480 Training Units
Guest Trainer Cost: $10,000 + $25,000 per trainee
TECHNICAL DEVELOPMENT ONLY QUALIFICATIONS
Technical Development Only qualifications refer to those which do not have different tiers associated to them and instead require a player to only train their staff in a single qualification in order for them to successfully facilitate the action associated to them.
Technical Development Only qualifications are often paired with other qualifications in order to amplify their usefulness, though players should be aware as to what each room provides patients as pairing up a Technical Development Only qualification with the wrong sub qualifications may hinder the player rather than help them out.
In many cases players will want to prioritize teaching a staff member these qualifications as they can make or break a hospital, especially if a player has no ways of facilitating treatment to certain patients who are suffering from ailments that require a particular room.
The following are all of the Technical Development Only qualifications staff can learn and what they provide:
GENETICS
The Genetics qualification can only be taught to Doctors and will allow Doctors to work in the DNA Lab.
Genetics is often paired with 1 Diagnosis qualification for speedier results and a higher diagnosis rate.
Players will want to maximize the rest of their Genetic’s qualifications with Treatment to ensure that all treatments are successful and speedily done as diagnosis itself cannot fail.
Genetics has a 240 (TU) and costs $10,000 + 10,000 per trainee.
GHOST CAPTURE
The Ghost Capture qualification can only be taught to Janitors and will allow Janitors to capture ghosts.
Realistically players will want a good amount of Janitors who have this qualification as there will always be dead people in their hospital and I would commonly pair this up with Maintenance unless you want to strategize by simply having some Janitors focus on ghosts, especially in scenarios that have too many ghosts appear.
I personally try to have ghost capture on all Janitors if possible, minus those with Mechanics skills, unless I don’t expect to provide them with Mechanics V, ie. I think I’m going to beat the game long before they get enough experience.
The more employees with ghost capture the less chance your hospital is going to remain haunted for long, essentially meaning a massive drop in reputation.
Ghost Capture has a 240 (TU) and costs $10,000 + 5,000 per trainee.
INJECTION ADMINISTRATION
The Injection Administration qualification can only be taught to Nurses and will help increase a Nurses’ Injection Skill while in the Injection Room.
Quite frankly, the Injection Administration qualification isn’t the most important one, though I do recommend having it on at least one or two Nurses to make sure that the Injection room is well taken care of, especially on scenarios where there are multiple vaccines that must be given.
Employees that are given the Injection Administration qualification will benefit heavily from also being given the Treatment qualifications as this will ensure that patients survive the treatment as well as increase the speed in which the Injection is facilitated.
Injection Administration has a 240 (TU) and costs $10,000 + 5,000 per trainee.
Injection Administration raises a Nurses’ treatment by 20% while in the Injection Room.
PHARMACY MANAGEMENT
The Pharmacy Management qualification can only be taught to Nurses and will help increase an Treatment Skills while in Pharmacy.
The Pharmacy Management skill is much like the Injection Administration qualification and is not completely necessary, though players will want to ensure that there are at least two Nurses that have it to make the Pharmacy a bit more efficient.
Nurses given the Pharmacy Management skill should also be provided with Treatment qualifications as this will further increase the speed in which treatment is facilitated and will ensure that treatment is always successful.
Pharmacy Management has a 240 (TU) and costs $10,000 + 5,000 per trainee.
The Pharmacy Management qualification will increase Treatment by 20% in the Pharmacy.
RADIOLOGY
The Radiology qualification can only be taught to Doctors and will allow doctors to work with the M.E.G.A. Scanner as well as provide Doctors with better Diagnostics when using an X-Ray.
Radiology is a very interesting qualification to provide Doctors with as it is the only qualification that directly affects two rooms.
I strongly recommend that you always train your Radiology Doctors with extra Diagnosis stats and make it so they work in both M.E.G.A. Scanner and X-Ray to ensure that you maximize their potential.
Radiology has a 240 (TU) and costs $10,000 + 10,000 per trainee.
Radiology will increase Diagnosis skills by 20% in the X-Ray, however will not give any increase in the M.E.G.A. Scanner.
PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT
Personal Development qualifications are the qualifications that most people avoid giving their staff members as they really do not effect treatment, however they can be used to help acquire certain objectives in scenarios.
I would strongly recommend avoiding these qualifications in general, unless you have a specific objective that will directly benefit from them.
I will outline which qualifications are worth it below and when they can be utilized, however, otherwise try to stay away from any employees that have these trained on them as they are just a waste of a skill.
The following is all you need to know about the Personal Development qualifications:
BEDSIDE MANNER
The Bedside Manner qualification can only be taught to Doctors and Nurses and will help increase a patients happiness when they are dealt with said Doctor or Nurse.
The Bedside Manner qualification is quite useless and will not really need to be used for any scenario.
Bedside Manner has a 240 (TU) and costs $10,000 + 5,000 per trainee.
EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE
The Emotional Intelligence qualification can be taught to all staff and will help increase a staff member’s Happiness by 10%.
Players will want to avoid this qualification unless they are in a scenario that requires players to keep a staff member’s happiness above a certain threshold.
Players can alternatively provide a staff member with a massive pay increase as this will also boost a an employee’s happiness.
Emotional Intelligence has a 240 (TU) and costs $10,000 + 5,000 per trainee.
MOTIVATION
The Motivation qualification can be taught to all employees and will help increase their speed and efficiency, essentially allowing them to work faster and for longer.
In most cases players will want to avoid the Motivation qualification, though they can be useful for Janitors with split stats as well as Nurses who are working in the Surgery as a Nurse’s qualifications will not be useful in Surgery otherwise.
Motivation has a 240 (TU) and costs $10,000 + 5,000 per trainee.
Motivation will increase a Staff Member’s speed and efficiency by 10%.
STAMINA TRAINING
The Stamina Training qualification can be taught to any employee and will help increase an the employee’s energy drain.
Essentially staff members trained in the Stamina Training qualification will be able to work for longer before they have to take a break, but again should only be used for Nurses who are working in Surgery to ensure that there isn’t too much time away from the facility.
Stamina has a 240 (TU) and costs $10,000 + 5,000 per trainee.
TRAINING MASTERCLASS
The Training Masterclass qualification can be taught to all employees and will boost the teaching and learning rate by 50%.

Training Masterclass has a 240 (TU) and costs $10,000 + 5,000 per trainee.
