Admittedly as straight forward as Minecraft Dungeons is, there are a few aspects to the game players may miss when initially entering.
Upon entering the Mission Select menu, players will have the option to choose which mission(s) they would like to engage with. Each level contains 6 different difficulties, though some of the more advanced levels do not have “easier” versions of them, meaning that players may want to take some extra time grinding out their levels before entering said maps.
Each map has a select group of gear drops and artefacts available, meaning that certain gear is not accessible to players who have not completed a full playthrough and that players will want to grind out specific dungeons if they prefer specific loot or want specific types of gear or artefacts.
Although the groups of gear drops and artefacts are limited, it does not seem like the enchantments players can get are limited by dungeon, though the amount of enchantments seems to be capped on some maps.
In the bottom right corner of the Mission Select, players will have the option to view the next mission or change the difficulty of the whole game.
