Little Misfortune is an extremely adorable game, though admittedly it does come with a lot of heartbreak and sadness as the name implies.
Players must take Little Misfortune on an story mode adventure game that follows Miss Fortune on what seems to be her last day on Earth.
Along the journey players must make choices that will impact the story either securing Achievements or locking players out of interactions that will still advance the story, but may not provide players with all of the Achievements that are available to them.
While players will be able to see all the Achievements that area available to unlock in Little Misfortune the reality is that not all of the Achievements are clear to obtain and will require the player to play through the game a few times in order to fully unlock everything.
The following guide will take you through everything you need to know about all of the achievements you can get in Miss Fortune.
MANUAL SPARKLE
The Manual Sparkle achievement is one of the easiest achievements to get as players simply have to use Little Misfortune’s glitter 50 times.
Players will not need to use the glitter on anything important as this achievement is simply obtained by sprinkling the glitter.
MUSIC 4 EVER
In order to get the Music 4 Ever achievement, players must interact with Little Misfortune’s radio and dance through the whole song.
THE CAUSE
Early in the game players will need to run first the first time, essentially leading Little Misfortune to break a Vase.
Players must successfully fix the Vase, placing all the pieces together including the Flower.
Upon fixing the Vase players will receive the reward.
THE EFFECT
Players will acquire The Effect achievement by ignoring the Vase and choosing not to fix it.
TOO MUCH ROLLING
When Little Misfortune is at the park she must ride the Twister 3-4 times until she pukes.
LIL’ CUTIE
In order to obtain the Lil’ Cutie achievement, players must set the dog free and interact with it until Little Misfortune calls it Lil’ Cutie.
It should be noted that letting the dog free will also allow players to get two other achievements.
DOGGY TREAT
In order to acquire the Doggy Treat achievement, players will have to let the Doggy free so it follows them and will need to select the Doggy Treat when the doggy begins barking at the ground by the beach.
THE FORTUNE
In order to acquire The Fortune achievement players will have to select the Fortune Cookie when choosing which treat to take from the jar.
It should be noted that if players want to collect all of the achievements in a single run they should save before taking the Fortune Cookie as the Doggy Treat is another achievement players can collect.
TOMB LADY
While at the Pet Cemetery players must interact with all the graves, unearthing everything.
ROTTEN FISH
Players must obtain the fish from the bridge, Rodrigo, and feed him to the pet bird in the playground.
Players will keep Rodrigo’s skeleton until they reach the Pet Cemetery where they must bury him in the empty grave.
HIT THE ALARM!
During the Live Hamster’s scene players will be met with two Hamster that are in a dispute.
Players must interfere with these Hamsters by choosing “Yes” when the “End the violence between the hamsters?” prompt is given, leading the old lady hamster to become upset with you as you did not return her purse.
Players will then need to head behind the lady where there is a button, press the button.
Upon pressing the bottom a ladder will appear that you must climb and you will be met by 3 tough looking brute hamsters.
Players must locate a pinecone and shoot it at the fire alarm button by using a slingshot, essentially providing you with the “Hit the alarm!” achievement.
DANCE MASTER
To acquire the Dance Master achievement, players must enter the Hamster Club by allowing the Hamsters to beat each other up.
This means that players must choose “No” to the “End the violence between the Hamsters” interaction as doing so will cause the old lady Hamster to give you a VIP ticket into the club.
Players must head to the right of the club in order to see an exotic dancer on stage.
Players will drop either their rock or their unicorn which will dance battle.
Players must try to get the highest score in the DDR game in order to acquire this achievement.
THE RETURNER
While in Phasmaphoria, players have the option to ride a single ride, though this achievement requires players to ride both of them.
Players can either save the game right before riding their first ride in order to ride the second to unlock this achievement or can replay the game to unlock it.
FOX WHACKER
Collecting this achievement is fairly straight forward as all players need to do is play the Whack-a-Fox game one time.
GAMER
The Gamer Achievement requires players to collect all 9 rewards tickets when playing Whack-a-Fox.
FORTUNE TELLER
In order to obtain the Fortune Teller achievement players must have their fortunes read 3 times at the Fortune Teller.
Players should not worry about wasting their tickets in this area as they will be able to acquire enough tickets to do everything they need to do.
RICH LADY
In order to acquire the Rich Lady achievement players must collect all 9 reward tickets from the Whack-a-Fox game.
This should allow players to purchase all of the rewards from the Reward Machine as well as provide players with 3 Fortune Teller readings.
Upon purchasing all of the of the rewards players will get the Rich Lady achievement.
THE KRAKEN
In order to obtain The Kraken achievement, players must pick up Rodrigo, the fish, earlier but must not feed him to the pigeon.
Instead players must wait until they are on the boat ride with Charon and must throw the fish into the water in order to distract The Kraken.
FEEDER
While at the Zoo, the player will pass by three bird cages where various types of birds are located.
Players will have to steal seeds that are located to the left of these cages and will have to throw these seeds at the birds.
Players must feed all the birds, meaning that the player must throw seeds in all three of the cages.
SNEAK PAST THE JANITOR
In order to unlock the Sneak Past the Janitor achievement, players must successfully sneak by the Janitor when making their way through the Zoo.
RUNESTONES
In order to acquire this achievement players must locate the three Runestones on the map.
The Runestones are located in the following locations:
FIRST
The first Runestone can be located after leaving George’s House.
Players must both read this message and will then have to take out the top piece.
SECOND
In order to locate the second Runestone, players must successfully evade the Janitor in order to locate the second Runestone.
Players must make sure that they remove the top part of this Runestone in order to obtain the ability to read the third.
THIRD
The Third Runestone is hidden in plain sight and will be located as players make their way to Benjamin’s Cabin.
CAN KICKER
In order to get the Can Kicker achievement players will need kick the can on the floor 3 times.
PAINTER
In order to obtain the Painter achievement players will have to bring the colouring book with them and will need to colour all of the pages in order to unlock it.
Quite frankly, this achievement was one of the most annoying ones to obtain as it simply takes a while to actually colour all the pages.
Players will not be able to acquire this achievement if they did not select to take the colouring book in one of the first scenes.
LOCATIONS OF ALL THE HAY DOLLS
Along the way players will have to locate a number of Dolls, the first being a guaranteed doll that players will not be able to avoid.
The following are all of the locations of the Dolls:
HAY DOLL #1
As mentioned, the first Hay Doll is an automatic claim as it will appear in the world after Little Misfortune exits George’s House.
Little Misfortune will pick it up automatically as it is on one of the trees that she passes and it will state the following:
Everything begins with the song of a jackdaw
HAY DOLL #2
As players progress in the story they will be given the option to ride a teeter totter horse and a twister ride, players must ride the twister in order to knock the Hay Doll out of it, acquiring access to the second Hay Doll.
The second Hay Doll must be picked up and will say the following:
When the trees are naked, when the wind is cold, when the smell of rotten apples smash against the stone.
HAY DOLL #3
The Third Hay Doll requires players to make their way through the Pet Cemetery.
Notably players do not have to do anything specific in the Pet Cemetery and could quite frankly “fail” this part of the game and still secure the third Hay Doll.
Players will find this Doll right at the end of the Pet Cemetery and it will state:
when unloved children in the darkness search for why they’re in pain.
HAY DOLL #4
I thought I was extremely smart by getting caught by the Janitor when in my first play through as it brought me into the Janitor’s office where I found the fourth Hay Doll, but the reality is that players will find themselves in the Janitor’s office no matter if they get caught or not.
Players must try to escape the Janitor’s office before they are given the ability to search around the room properly and will be ale to locate the fourth Hay Doll by heading to the bottom left of the room where they can interact with a box that has a Hay Doll.
The fourth Hay Doll states:
when broken hearts are chosen to receive the gift from The Beyond.
HAY DOLL #5
The fifth Hay Doll requires players to play the Whack-a-Fox game enough times to secure at least 3 tickets.
Players will want to make sure that they collect at least 6 tickets to fully progress through this part though this will highly depend on if the player has played through the game before.
Upon purchasing the fifth Hay Doll players will read the following message:
Reality will transform into what the child desires the most.
HAY DOLL #6
The sixth Hay Doll requires players to read and find all of the Runestones in the game.
If the player misses even one Runestone they will not unlock this Hay Doll.
The sixth Hay Doll states:
The games you enjoy, you can have them all.
HAY DOLL #7
Players must make it to Benjamin’s cabin in order to locate the seventh Hay Doll.
Upon leaving the cabin, players will see Benjamin’s bag on the floor where they must interact with it in order to collect the seventh Hay Doll.
Upon picking up the Hay Doll players will read the following message:
At the end of the road, you will realize you already signed the deal.
HAY DOLL #8
Upon encountering Morgo players will wake up for a second time in their room, though some things will be different.
One of the major differences is that the eighth Hay Doll will be in the middle of the floor on the carpet.
The eighth Hay Doll states:
Morgo is coming. Open. your eyes, he is the voice in your head driving you mad.
HAY DOLL #9
The ninth Hay Doll is easy to collect, it will be waiting for you before you enter the final scene of the game.
Players do not need to do anything in order to acquire this Hay Doll, not even collect all of the eternal happiness.
The final Hay Doll states:
All around disasters seem to disappear. Deep inside the fog you defeat him.
SPARKLING LADY
The Sparkling Lady requires Little Misfortune to sparkle over every object that can be transformed.
The following are all the objects:
The Refrigerator in the first kitchen
The Pot with the dead rabbit
Her mom in the kitchen
The Car in the front yard
The dead Crow across the first road
The Garbage at the beach
George who has committed suicide
The Grave for the Goldfish in the Pet Cemetary
The Alchohal store
The Venus Fountain
The Phasmaphoria sign with the Clown and Ghost
The Fox Balloon man
The Ghost and Skeleton near the Rewards Machine
The Bear Trap near the last Runestone
The Video Cassette Tape Little Misfortune breaks
Benjamin’s Bag

This will also unlock the alternate ending where her mommy receives the Eternal Happiness.
