How to Beat Fish In A Barrel | BroTown Mission 13 Medium | PewDiePie’s Pixelings

Last Updated January 4, 2021 By Johnny Salib / FlamingGaymer Leave a Comment

Falcon is back with a vengeance and this time he’s much more powerful.

Falcon’s mechanics are pretty much the same, but because  Falcon probably outpowers your Pixelings, you’re going to have to be strategic with him.

This following guide will take you through:

Recommended Abilities/Skills

Recommended Strategy to Win

Recommended Pixelings to Use in Battle

RECOMMENDED ABILITIES/SKILLS

I highly recommend taking Energize and Drain into this battle.

Energize will help you get more damage with Falcon or will help you drain one of the barrels with Ozzy.

Shockingly the Barrels are what I have the most difficulty with because they commonly get to their charge move. So, to avoid getting hit with massive damage from one of the barrels, I recommend using Drain on them.

This will help you get one step closer to Flawless.

RECOMMENDED STRATEGY TO WIN

Due to the amount of burst damage that Falcon has, you’re going to want to make sure that you can out damage it.

For this reason, I recommend that you take 3 Ranged Pixelings and 2 Melee Pixelings (pref. Tanks.) You can also choose to take in 2 Ranged Pixelings, 2 Melee Pixelings and 1 Troll Pixeling.

The following is the way & order you’re going to want to place your Pixelings:

1. RANGED PIXELING

3. MELEE PIXELING

2. RANGED/TROLL PIXELING

I would recommend taking out Falcon first by rotating your Ranged Pixelings into the front position every time they are ready to attack.

If you choose to take in Ozzy always make sure to land its charge ability on a barrel since they will do too much damage if left untouched.

RECOMMENDED PIXELINGS TO USE IN BATTLE

At this point in the game, not everyone is going to have the same Pixelings as each other.

So although these are my recommendations, dependant on your Pixeling’s levels you may want to swap out different Pixelings.

Again, the priority is to have at least 2 Ranged Pixelings and 2 Melee Pixelings.

The following are the Pixelings I found it easiest to clear this map with.

OZZY (RARE)

Charge Ability // Drain / Remove 2 Charges

Passive Ability // Poison Burst / Upon defeat inflicts a critical hit and Poison to its attacker

Ozzy is going to be a complete gamechanger for you if you choose to take it into this level.

Due to the fact that Barrels are already on the field, it doesn’t take very long before they attack you with a full charge attack.

I would Energize Ozzy when you can to force the Barrels not to explode on you, and weave any 1 charge attacks onto Falcon to get it down.

Ozzy should then be switched out for a higher DPS Pixeling.

FALCON (UNCOMMON)

Charge Ability // Heavy Attack / Deals Massive Damage

Turns to Charge: 2

Falcon is our reliable DPS it seems.

Falcon is an easy to farm Pixeling and with a little boost of Energize you can easily take down the opposing Falcon within a few rounds.

Keep Falcon alive for as long as you can and you won’t regret it.

SPONSY (RARE)

Charge Ability // Heal Lowest / Gives Health to the ally with the lowest health

Passive Ability // Frenzy / Has 50% chance to gain 1 Charge point every time it receives damage

I went back and forth between having Sponsy on the field and Jennifer and I concluded on Sponsy.

Jennifer is an amazing tank, it’s just there are no real status effects in this map that I’m afraid of.

Sponsy turns out more DPS than Jennifer and on top of that, you can put Sponsy into a background position for a turn to allow it time to heal itself.

All in all, Sponsy is my favourite tank-not-tank.

FLOSS (UNCOMMON)

Charge Ability // Heal Self / Gives Health to Self

Floss is a surprisingly tanky Pixeling that I only recently got the pleasure of knowing.

I had never received duplicates of it in any eggs, but this week I landed on some goodies, getting it up to level 4.

While not completely powered up, Floss took the hits that Sponsy couldn’t like a champ.

Since this level has a lot to do with burst damage, you might not want to take Tuski onto the field, just because it has a bit less health.

If you can somehow get it to heal before the Barrels kill it, kudos to you.

GUSTO (MYTHIC)

Charge Ability // Heavy Attack / Deals Heavy Damage

Shrouded // Receives 33% less damage from Ranged Pixelings

Beserk // Deals 50% more damage when below 33% health

Gusto is an extremely powerful Ranged Pixeling, which is why I choose to put it on my team.

It can be swapped in or out by most other Ranged Pixelings, but if you have a Mythic Pixeling at this point, I would find a way to use them.

Basically, this slot is for any powerful Pixeling you have.

CONCLUSION

As much as the concept for Fish in a Barrel isn’t super complicated, Falcon does pack a punch in this level.

I had to take a second look when I saw Falcon’s level, and quite frankly I was scared the levels that followed were going to be even higher.

Luckily, if you’re good at moving your Pixelings around on the field, you should be good on this map.

So I’m curious, what Pixelings did you choose to put on your team?

Did you get Flawless on this level yet?
