Lunar Souls are a very important resource to have as they are a time gated end game material that allow people to not only get more mastery, but will also allow players to craft various resources that will help players get further in their grind towards getting perfect Gems.
Lunar Souls used to be grinded from Shadow Towers, however, since the Delve updates the only place players are actively grinding these are from Delves.
HOW MANY LUNAR SOULS CAN YOU GET WEEKLY?
Players will only be able to collect 18 Lunars Souls per week.
HOW DO YOU GET LUNAR SOULS?
Players will be able to collect their Lunar Souls after their 6th vault that they open in the Delve in a week span.
Players will only be able to acquire Lunar Souls after they have collected their Titan Souls for the week.
WHAT CAN YOU USE LUNAR SOULS ON?
As mentioned, Lunar Souls can be spent on a number of resources that can be purchase using the Shadowy Market.
Many of resources players will receive include Empowered Gem Boxes, Tomes and various Cosmetics.
End Game players may want to focus on using their Lunar Souls on crafting items in the Adventurer’s Crafting Bench as they will help you focus more on upgrading your Gems, though I would always start off by crafting everything in the Shadowy Market because of the crazy amount of Mastery they will provide a player.
I will cover more on these shortly.
The following are all the items that can be crafting using Lunar Souls:
EMPOWERED GEM BOX
Empowered Gem Boxes are by far one of the most useful resources players can grind out with their Lunar Souls as they will drop Radiant and Staller Empowered Gems which are used to help provide players with more stats that associate with their Power Rank.
Players will probably want to start out by buying these until they have good enough Gems and want to begin powering up those Gem’s stats.
Players will not want to continuously redeem their Lunar Souls for Empowered Gem Boxes and should probably rotate between these as the the Contained Chaos Sparks until they are happy with with the gems on all of their classes that they are working on.
It should be noted that Empowered Gem Boxes can provide Gems of all kinds meaning that players will not be able to guarantee Gems of a specific colour. Players may also become frustrated with these as they will provide many 2 star Gems and Gems that are Radiant which are pretty useless.

OCULUS OPUS
The Oculus Opus is a bit of a useless tome as it will provide players with 400 Eyes of Q’bthulu, which are quickly obtained when players run Shadow Shard Farms and are opening lots of Shadow Caches as these rapidly fill a player’s inventory.
Realistically players will want to ensure that they have this tome as 400 Eyes of Q’bthulu a week is no laughing matter, especially for newer players or players who do not have the time to grind Shadow Shards every week.
Unlocking the Oculus Opus is still a smart idea, sheerly based on the fact that it will provide players with a good amount of Mastery.
I personally choose to ignore this Tome every week, but that’s because I have so much of this resource already.

ROPEY READINGS
The Ropey Readings is also a fairly useless Tome, though it will provide players with 20 Tentacles of Q’thulhu a week and also provides players with a good amount of Mastery.
Similar to the Tome above, players will be able to grind this resource more efficiently by opening Shadow Caches and thus would want to rely on them instead of simply using the Tome.

LUNAR VEIL
The Lunar Veil is a Carpet Mount that while gorgeous, will mostly be used for the 50 Mastery it provides.
The Lunar Veil allows players to glide, similar to Wings.

WINGS OF LUNACY
The Wings of Lunacy are a gorgeous type of Wings that players can use to glide at 95 Movement speed.
Players will want to ensure that they purchase these for Mastery.

THRONE OF THE MOON
The Throne of the Moon is a Recliner Mount that will provide a player with 50 Mastery.
Honestly, this is one of the nicer mounts, though I still stick to using Dragons simply because they will allow you to break into dungeons.

MOMOONGA THE MISCHIEVIOUS
Momoonga the Mischievous is another gorgeous mouth worth 50 Mastery that is based off the Sugar Glider, similar to Squeakers.
Momoonga the Mischievous allows players to Glide, similar to Wings.

CRESCENT CREST SAIL
The Crescent Crest Sail is a reskinning for any ship the player rides and has a gorgeous crescent moon on it.

DARKENED MOON SAIL
The Darkened Moon Sail is another Sail that players can use on any boat, though not as lovely as the Sail above in my opinion.
The Darkened Moon Sail appears as a half moon also representing the Daughter of the Moon.

GRASPING DARKNESS SAIL
The Gasping Darkness Sail is the final Sail available for Lunar Souls and is an interesting Sail as it is also a crescent moon, though it seems to have both the Eye and Tentacles of Q’thulhu on it.

DEFENDER OF THE MOON
The Defender of the Moon is a skin for the Lunar Lancer that provides players with both the base skin aa new helmet style (Defender of the Moon Greathelm) as well as a new spear (Defender of the Moon Spear).
Each piece acquired will provide the player with Mastery.

LUMINOUS PARAGON WINGS
The Luminous Paragon Wings are a set of Wings that are gorgeous and will allow players to glide when wearing them.
These Wings provide players with 100 Glide and Movement Speed.

CONTAINED CHAOS SPARK (ADVENTURER’S CRAFTING BENCH)
The Contained Chaos Spark will be one of the resources players will want to make sure that they grind out as they will allow players to re-roll one of their stats on any Gem of their choice.
The only stat players will not be able to re-roll is the Light Stat on Cosmic Empowered Gems.
Players will not be able to change a Physical Damage Gem into a Magic Damage Gem, which is a bit sucky, but they will be able to get rid of stats they don’t care about such as Critical Hit on Cosmic Gems, Maximum Health or Health Regen.
Quite frankly, I would save your Lunar Souls for this resource until you are happy with all of your stats before going back to Empowered Gems.
My reason for saying this is that it is much better to have a single class be over powered while you wait to power up the rest.
