Why I Love the Flame Princess in Fire Trap | Bloons Adventure Time TD

Last Updated January 4, 2021 By Johnny Salib / FlamingGaymer Leave a Comment

Bloons Adventure Time TD is a game that features quite a number of hidden gems.

I’ve been sick recently, so I’ve been spending a good amount of time grinding out this game and I’ve been discovering some cool things hidden in some of the maps.

As I was playing one day I noticed that BMO mentioned that there were some hidden easter eggs in maps, so as any basic gamer would do… I started tapping the screen all over while playing. While doing this ever so effective tactic I discovered that the Flame Princess who is found in the Fire Trap Level.

WHERE IS THE FLAME PRINCESS ON THE MAP?

The Flame Princess can be found in the center of the map Fire Trap inside of a glass enclosure that resembles an oil lantern.

She has a few different poses that let the player know whether or not she is on standby, attacking, or too exhausted to attack.

WHAT EXACTLY DOES THE FLAME PRINCESS DO?

The Flame Princess is a hidden easter egg that activates the volcanoes found on either side of her.

HOW DO I KNOW IF THE FLAME PRINCESS IS READY?

The Flame Princess has three stages which indicate whether or not she is ready to use.

STANDBY/READY

The Flame Princess is standing upright in a natural state.

ACTIVE/ATTACKING

The Flame Princess hopes her tentacles and volcanoes on each side of her explode multiple times simultaneously.

REPOSE/COOL DOWN

The Flame Princess is on her knees breathing and taking a moment for herself. She is not toggleable at this time and you must wait for her to regain her strength and stand up again.

WHAT BALLOONS CAN THE VOLCANOES EXPLODE?

The volcanoes can explode every type of balloon. Yes, you heard me! That means that they can explode camo and lead balloons.

HOW OFTEN IS THE FLAME PRINCESS USABLE?

The Flame Princess is on a fairly short cooldown and can be used almost every round. If she is not refreshed by the beginning of the next round, she will be by the round after that.

IS THERE A LEVEL REQUIREMENT TO USE THE FLAME PRINCESS EASTER EGG?

There is no level requirement to access this hidden easter egg. The Flame Princess is accessible at all stages.

DO I NEED TO UNLOCK THE FLAME PRINCESS TO USE THIS EASTER EGG?

No, you do not need to have access to the Flame Princess to be able to use her magical abilities in the Fire Trap map.

WHEN SHOULD I USE THE FLAME PRINCESS?

Honestly, it’s up to you. For me it really depends on what’s going on. I try to use the Flame Princess on cooldown, especially at the beginning of the game when I don’t really have good coverage of the map.

The Flame Princess doesn’t have a limit on how many times you use her, so might as well use her when there is a barrage of balloons or at the beginning of each round to get you some extra money to spend on upgrades or new characters.

MY LAST THOUGHTS ON THE FLAME PRINCESS

Do I think that the Flame Princess is overpowered? Absolutely not.

I think that the Flame Princess is an adorable Easter Egg placed in the game that helps you deal with some of the difficulty caused by this map.

I don’t think the volcanoes are extremely helpful against MOABs, though they do help give you a bit extra DPS when you need it or can catch balloons that are escaping (dependant on how you build your kill box.)

So, I’m curious, do you use the Flame Princess? Do you find her useful? How did you clear the Fire Trap? Let me know in the comments below!
